Reflection on English Language Learning.

Throughout my English language learning journey, I have

encountered a myriad of challenges and triumphs that have

shaped my understanding of both the language and myself.

Initially, I grappled with the fundamental building

blocks of grammar and vocabulary. Sentences seemed like

puzzles, with words elusive and unfamiliar. Yet, with

My English Midterm Reflection

The English midterm exam was really hard! I studied a lot but

there were still some parts that stumped me. I'm going to go

through the different sections and reflect on how I did and what I

can improve for next time.

The reading comprehension part was okay. The passages

weren't too difficult to understand, but some of the vocabulary

was really challenging. Words like "diligent" and "spurious"

aren't ones I see very often. I need to work on learning more

vocabulary, maybe by reading more advanced books or using

flashcards. The questions about making inferences from the

passages were the hardest. I have to practice looking for the

clues in the text that hint at the answers.

Next up was the writing section, which is usually one of my

通过考试，总结出了以下几点：

1、 词汇量过少，不只是阅读理解做不出来，是作文写得也过于苍白无力，错误不少。

3、 语法还应记得更加牢固，不可马虎，不仅要牢记笔记，还要灵活运用，学会举一反三。

针对这几点，我计划做一个错题集。这种记录重要的单词用法，语法知识，自己平时或者考试时的错题，并且经常去看看。希望自己成为一个对于英语的思考习惯，这次错的题目尽量不要再犯。重点是做错的。经常做错的题，不管是查资料还是问老师同学，要把它彻底弄懂的。下一次的考试，一定要发挥出自己的最佳水平，争取达到满意的成绩，不能再让英语成为“拖后腿”的科目，争取取得最优异的成果。

仔细看看试卷发现竟然错了很多不该错的地方。我的基础知识部分扣了很多分，主要是单词掌握不好。阅读题扣了26分，说明我的阅读量不够，我的阅读速度慢影响了做后面的题，思考的时间少了。老师狠狠地批评了我。我的这次英语作文只得了6分，这与我的词汇量不够，阅读积累不够有很大的关系。

分析原因，主要是课前没有做好预习，课堂上没有积极的举手发言，课后不认真复习，把写作业当成一种完成任务。于是，在考试的时候，我得到了我应有的“报应”。经过我的仔细反思，有这样的结果是我在做作业时，囫囵吞枣，没有仔细审题，认真做题，这让我失去了一次特别好的自我提高的机会。我应该把写作业当成一个新的开始，而不是上一段学习的结束，每一次的作业都要当做一次小的考试。我要增加一些仿写和阅读的练习。 在今后的学习中，在课堂上我要积极回答问题做好笔记，多记一些老师拓展的知识点，每天回家要复习一遍老师讲的内容，认真完成一篇阅读与完形填空，我有上进心想去学的英语知识，自己努力，超越自己，比别的同学更好。
