主要教育经历：1981.9—1985.7 广西师范学院地理系，理学学士；1997.7—1999.7 南京师范大学地理科学学院，理学硕士；1999.7—2002.7 福建师范大学自然资源研究中心，理学博士；2002.12—2005.1 华南农业大学生物学博士后科研流动站，博士后。

主要工作经历：1985.7—1989.9 在广西师范学院任教；2005.6— 在暨南大学深圳旅游学院旅游管理系任教，教授。

主要研究领域： 地图学与地理信息系统、自然资源利用与开发、旅游信息化与旅游电子商务主要教学经历：地图学与地理信息系统专业硕士生学位课程：《资源与环境遥感》、《土地资源信息系统》；旅游管理专业硕士生学位课程：《旅游地产与风景区的自然组合》、《旅游与酒店信息技术及网络化》；旅游管理、电子商务专业本科生课程：《旅游地理学》、《旅游资源与开发》、《旅游管理信息系统》、《旅游电子商务》。

主持负责建设的广东省旅游实验教学中心于2009年被评为广东省高等学校实验教学示范中心。

主要学术兼职：华南农业大学信息学院地理信息与测绘工程系客座教授；广西师范学院资源与环境学院地图学与地理信息系统专业硕士生导师；asia-pacific education and training institutes in tourism专家委员会委员；广东省省情调查研究中心对策咨询专家；广州市国土和房屋管理局专家委员会委员。
