本课对话通过Su Hai在散步途中遇到Ben和他的表弟Jack，三人之间展开寸闲聊这一情景，引出两种事物的比较这一话题。Su Hai和Jack原不相识，所以Jack并不知道Su Hai还有一个孪生姐妹Su Yang。在谈论并不在场的Su Yang的过程中，出现了本单元的重点：形容词比较级。在学习过程中我们不仅要理解掌握形容词比较级的构成形式，还要体会了解比较级的概念，并在实际运用中巩固这个概念。
