Unit 1My father goes to work at eight o’clock every morning.
一、教材分析
本单元是外研版(三起)五年级下册第七模块第一单元,通过大明和芳芳两人之间的对话,学习询问他人的职业,以及描述自己家人的职业及上班时间。

二、教学目标
1、知识目标
能够听说、认读单词worker/taxi/factory/evening/late/early.
学习目标语句:My father/mother goes to work at …
What does he/she do He/She is a …
2、能力目标
能够运用本单元句型询问他人的职业,并能描述父母的职业和上班时间。

3、情感目标
通过本单元的学习,体会父母工作的辛劳,学会关心父母、体贴父母,做自己力所能及的事情。

五、教学过程:
Step1. Warm-up
Greeting.
T: Do you like songs
Ss: Yes.
Sing the song《my father and my mother.》课件播放歌曲视频,学生起立,拍手跟唱。

【设计意图】课前问候,拉近师生间的距离。

歌曲能活跃课堂气氛,将学生快速带入英语学习状态,同时歌曲中出现的职业单词及句子为本节课接下来的学习做了铺垫。

Step2. Leading in
T: Boys and girls, as you know, I’m a teacher. And I’ve got some friends. What do they do Let’s have a look.
教师手拿职业单词图片,询问学生“What does he/she do”,学生回答:“She/He is a…”,以此复习职业单词farmer/policeman/nurse/ driver,并学习新单词worker/taxi。

课件出示钟表与活动一的图片,“I go to work at half past seven in the morning. The Smart family are going to the park at half past seven,
too. Let’s look and listen.”播放活动一课文动画。

Listen , imitate and say.
课件呈现Daming背着书包上学的图片Daming is going to school with—Fangfang,she’s Daming’s friend. (听活动2的活动说明)。

【设计意图】本环节复习了职业单词及句型,为接下来的课文学习做好铺垫。

Step3 Text-learning
播放活动2课文动画,学生观看动画,初步理解意思。

T:Daming and Fangfang are talking about their father and mother. Let’s listen again and find: My father/mother go to work at… He’s/She’s a…
依次找出句子并跟读,并在情境中学习新单词evening/late/factory/early。

Listen for the third time and imitate.
Role—play. Choose the picture they like and practice in pairs. Then show.
【设计意图】第一遍初步感知课文,整体理解对话内容,有利于学生对课文的整体把握。

第二遍,带着问题逐幅图学习并跟读课文,模仿正确的语音语调,并在课文情境中学习新单词。

角色扮演有助于加深学生对课文的理解,保持学生的学习兴趣。

Step4. Practice
T: Boys and girls, we know Daming’s and Fangfang’s parents’jobs
and working time. I want to know your parents’ too. (课件呈现对话例子,师先与学生做示范。

)Now practice with your partner.师巡视指导。

Step5. Summary
总结本节课所学单词及句型。

情感教育:孝顺父母、体贴父母。

Step6. Homework
1.Read the text for 10 minutes with your reading pen.
