Unit 3 is all about food and healthy eating! I think it's a really

fun topic because everybody has to eat food to live. My favorite

foods are pizza, hamburgers, and ice cream sundaes. I could eat

those every day! But my mom says that's not very healthy and I

need to eat more vegetables and fruits too. I don't mind

vegetables that much, especially if they are covered in cheese or

ranch dressing. Yum!

In this unit, we learned about the different food groups and

what kinds of nutrients different foods have. There are grains like

bread and pasta, vegetables, fruits, dairy foods like milk and

yogurt, and protein foods like meat, eggs, and beans. We're

supposed to eat a balanced diet with a variety from all the

My 7th Grade English Class

English class this year has been a lot of fun! We just started

the third unit in our textbooks and I'm really excited about all the

new things we're going to learn.

This unit is all about describing people and places. We've

already learned a bunch of new adjectives to describe how

people look and sound. Words like "tall", "short", "loud", "quiet"

and so on. Our teacher had us go around the class and describe

our classmates, which was kind of funny. Jimmy described
