Nowadays, fewer and fewer students pay attention

to their word-spelling. According to a recent survey,

there is a dramatic increase in the number of students

who can only imitate the pronunciation of words but be

incapable of spelling them. This phenomenon greatly

influences students’ writing and brings on worries among

teachers.

There are possibly three reasons contributing to this
