The differences between the north and south
Good morning everyone, today I want to talk about some interesting things. My topic is the differences between north and south in China. Most of our classmates are from south, you won’t feel something as I do.
There are many differences between north and south. Today I just talk about two parts: diet and weather.
In eating, north and south both sides each hold different opinions. When I arrive in south, I never thought that tofu pudding could be sweet, and I did not know that there are so many kinds of traditional Chinese rice-pudding in China. In north, the ingredients of traditional Chinese rice-pudding are jujube and glutinous rice. However, in south it can contain many other things, such as meat, eggs and so on.
As is known to all, the north is given priority to with pasta, southerners is given priority to with rice. But donot think the northerners always eat noodles. They are not equal to pasta. If you go to north for a visit, you will understand that deeply. Because of the climate and geography, there are not many kinds of vegetables and meat as south. So northerners create many kinds of pasta, On the contrary southerners cook delicious dishes, but dull pasta.
It is common sense that the temperature of north is lower than south. So I took it for granted that northerners are more cold-resistant than southerners. And it is not very cold in south. But the fact tells me that I am wrong, totally wrong . In the winter, I really cannot stand the cold weather in south .while I dress three pants, a Southerner of my friends just dress a thin long johns and jeans. It really amazed me. From then on, I accept the truth that the cold-resistant property of Southerners is high while the equipments of northerners are better. What led to this result? Southerners grew up living in such an environment, they have become accustomed to life that the same temperature whether in room or outside.
It is so funny that southerners and northerners look strange at each other.
In a word, life is so good. Just go out and open your eyes. Only in this way, can you feel the wonderful world.。
