一、 教学对象分析
班上大多数学生英语基础差,词汇量低,阅读英语的技能弱。所以,如何设计合适的任务,让学生愿意参与,敢于参与,乐于参与,是教学设计过程中考虑的重点。
二、 教材内容分析
本节课的内容是人教版模块三第五单元的阅读(Reading)部分,阅读部分是一篇游记,记述了李黛予和刘倩这两个女孩去加拿大看望表兄妹,乘坐火车横穿加拿大的旅途见闻。通过两位旅人的所见、所闻、所感来介绍加拿大的自然风光、主要城市、人口、动物、淡水资源等。相比旧教材的介绍加拿大的文章,这种介绍国家的方式,更能引发学生的学习兴趣,但是难度也更大,对中低层学生而言,更是不小的挑战。
三、 教学目标
1.学生能够掌握“真北方”之旅的各种信息;2.学生能够进一步了解加拿大;
3.学生能够总结概括介绍地点以及写游记的一些方法;4.学生能够通过合作共同完成任务。 第2页/共5页 四、 教学过程

(1)视频热身/问题导入
教师展示图片,让学生用一些形容词说说对这个国家的第一印象。

教师设计5个小问题测试学生,了解学生对加拿大一些基本情况的熟悉程度,以此导入到本课的课题。

Understand the noun clause used as appositive.
2.) Enable the students to understand the details of the passage about Canada and find the correct
answers to the questions in the post-reading.
3. Learning ability goals
Improve the students’ reading ability - searching for information.
