《典范英语》(3b-L28)教学参考
The Secret Room
教学参考的目的在于为实验课提供一个基本的思路和框架,帮助实验教师更好地把握课题理念。课题组鼓励实验教师结合学生的实际情况适当做出调整,将实验课上出特色。
一、教学目标
1. 语言能力目标:学生能够读懂故事情节;惟妙惟肖地模仿录音;绘声绘色地独立朗读故事;能根据脉络图和关键词复述故事;能发挥想象仿写秘密房间的故事。
2. 非语言能力目标:引导学生体会一家人通过劳动让房子焕然一新的喜悦;引导学生针对秘密房间展开想象并讨论,培养学生的想象力和表达能力。
二、课时安排
要求每周不少于两课时,每课时至少完成一个故事。
三、教师要求 精品文档
实用文档 1. 教师课前须熟读故事,了解故事内容。
2. 对于较难的单词,教师可板书,并配合动作和表情帮助学生理解。
3. 全英文授课。
四、教学用具
多媒体设备、CD机、课件(课题组提供)、图片序号卡片(见朗读故事环节)。
五、课堂教学基本步骤
1. 导入(Lead-in):回忆已学内容,引入故事
回忆已学过的几个有关新家的故事,为看图讲故事做好铺垫。
教师展示3b第1、2、3课部分图片(见课件),并与学生互动:
Do you remember this house? (展示房子图片:3b-L1图1)
Kipper’s family moved into the new house. (展示搬家图片:3b_L2图9)
What did they do after they moved in?
Dad painted the door. (展示爸爸刷漆图片:3b_L3图1)
The children came to play. (3b_L3图6)

2. 看图讲故事(Storytelling):理解故事情节,观察秘密房间的发现过程
教师利用课件逐幅播放故事图片,并用丰富的表情、生动的英文和适当的肢体语言给学生绘声绘色地讲故事,让学生观察并对比一家人收拾前房间的脏乱和收拾后的焕然一新,并了解秘密屋子是如何找到的。

Biff and Chip helped.
They liked the new house.
They wanted to make a cozy home.

3. 听录音模仿(Listening and Imitating):听懂录音并模仿出标准的语音语调
听录音模仿时,录音是什么音什么调,就让学生模仿成什么音什么调,注意以下句子的语气和表达的情感:“What a job!” 表达Chip对于累人工作的抱怨;“It looks like our house.” “It looks like our house inside.”“It looks like our dog. It looks like Floppy.”“Look at the children.
They look like us.”表达一家人在发现秘密房间和小房子时候的惊喜。
(1)放录音,让学生完整地听一遍故事,整体输入,不需停顿。
(2)放录音,全班学生齐声模仿1-2遍。要求学生逐句跟读,鼓励学生大胆开口,读出戏剧化效果,读出感情。教师要引导学生用不同的语气读出故事中的感叹句和含有“look like”的句子。
4. 朗读故事(Reading Dramatically):读懂故事并学会绘声绘色地独立朗读故事
通过多种形式的朗读,让学生能够绘声绘色地独立朗读故事,培养学生有感情朗读故事的习惯,练就扎实的语言基本功。 精品文档
实用文档 (1)分组朗读。学生两人一组,互相读给对方听,看谁读得准确、读得有感情。教师可在班内来回走动,对发音有问题的学生进行指点。
(2)朗读游戏。教师提前将图片序号做成卡片并打乱装在袋子里。课堂上教师拿着袋子随意走到某位学生面前,让其抽取一张序号,之后大声朗读与编号对应的图片。教师根据学生读的情况给予表扬、鼓励和指导。
5. 检查理解(Story Comprehension):梳理故事情节,培养学生的逻辑思维能力
教师引导学生围绕secret room的发现过程及特点理清故事主线,培养学生的逻辑思维能力。
(1)教师围绕secret room边提出几个问题,边在黑板上呈现如下脉络图。让学生分小组讨论答案,找出对应图片并制作关键词卡。问题如下:
Where did the family find the secret room?
How was it found?
How did they like it?
Why was there a secret room?
What were in the secret room?
What did the things in the secret room look like?
