How to get on well with parents
In my opinion, I have too many rules at home. My parents never allow me to go out with my
friends at night. They don’t allow me to choose my own clothes, either. And they pay too much
attention to my marks and give me too much pressure. I think my parents don’t quite understand
me.
However, I try my best to understand them. Because I know they really love me and want me to
have a bright future.
In order to get on well with my parents, I study hard and try to talk with them more. I think the
most important thing for children is caring about their parents.

This year, we celebrated China's National Day and the Mid-Autumn Day on the same day, October
the first.
The First of October is China's National Day. The People's Republic of China was founded on Ist
October 1949. People have celebrated it since then. Flowers and national flags can be seen in our
beautiful cities. We usually have a seven-day holiday.
The Mid-Autumn Day is usually in September or early October. It's a time for a dinner among
family, eating moon cakes and enjoying the moon at night.
It's fantastic that it also happened on October 1st this year. My parents and I visited grandparents
to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Day. And then we traveled in somewhere interesting around Tianjin.
Of course, I had to go over my lessons, too.
Would you please introduce your national day and how you celebrate it?
