第六单元主题阅读曹冲智救库吏曹冲是曹操的儿子，他聪明多智，而且很有同情心。

有一天，他父亲心爱的一具马鞍不幸被老鼠咬破了，管仓库的官吏发现后，吓得面无人色。

他想去自首，减少一些罪责，但又担心仍不免一死。

这件事被十来岁的曹冲知道了。

他想，库吏平时勤勤恳恳，为人老实，马鞍被老鼠咬坏，是一时疏忽，怎能因此而丧命？他便把库吏叫去，说：“我会设法救你的。

”库吏连连叩头而去。

”曹冲恭敬地说：“父亲说得对。

”隔了不多时，库吏来向曹操报告，说库内一具马鞍被老鼠咬坏了，说罢连连叩头谢罪。

曹操满脸怒火，本想狠狠惩罚库吏，但见曹冲在一旁，顿时想起刚才开导儿子的话，于是收起怒容说：“我儿子的衣服挂在床边尚且被老鼠咬了，何况马鞍是挂在仓库柱头上呢。

算了，往后留心一点儿。

”聪明的小曹冲就这样救了库吏的性命。
