雅思8作文范文求剑桥8雅思作文范文《剑桥雅思8》Test1大作文范文Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believethat school is the place to learn this.Discuss both views and give your own opinion.分析:这道题是问儿童教育应该谁来负责,是家长还是学校。
Children's education has long been our concern since Plato once uttered, "Education is where a country should start at." However, it is still a controversial issue after all these years among people who are particularly concerned about it. Some people believe that it is parents' responsibility to cultivate their kids to be fully aware of what a social being should look like; others, whereas, argue that schools should take over this for the ultimate goal. In this essay, I would put this issue in question and further analyse both sides before presenting my personal perspective. On one hand, parents, as the first touchers of their kids, should ___ them how to differentiate right from wrong. Given the time parents spend with their kids, they can be more likely to observe everyday change of their children. As a result of this, they are aountable for how their children normally behave in reality. More importantly, considering the fact that people aording to their social being are usually placed into diverse norms, parents, as a family, as a part of munity and asindividuals in the society, should appropriately behave in action so as to deliver a message to their kids in which what should be respected and cherished in lives is highly highlighted. On the other hand, academic institutions should take the responsibility for educating students to be entirely ready to enter the society. After leaving parents for schools, kids almost devote their most prime time at schools with their peels, their friends and their teachers; therefore, schools ought to put much emphasis on their growth as a person. Consequently, students could learn what they cannotacquire from home, such as municative skills, understanding of various cultures etc. From what was previously well stated, my point of view can be generated that parental education should be highly cooperated with formal education in the process of achild's growth. What contribute to a person to bee anentity are interpersonal skills and intrapersonal qualities; however, as for the parental education and formal education, the ultimate goal of a person which is to be taught to be a proper member of society cannot be fulfilled without either one of these.你好,雅思写作、口语,对于大部分中国学生来讲,是个难题。

名师点题剑桥雅思8作文(一)两篇观点不同的参考范文(250字—300字) 参考范文1——建议是学校Some people believe parents should teach their children to be good members of society, but I and others think school is the main place for this to be taught. The main reason why I think schools should primarily be responsible for teaching children to be good members of societyis that children spend more time at school with teachers than with their parents. The children are also in a formal learning environment. This combination provides more opportunities for teachers to show children how to behave as good members of society. The teachers can also ensure that all the children have the same chance to learn the same things about being good members of society. If parents are made more responsible for teaching their children to be good members of society, then many parents might find they do not have the time for this. Parents have many responsibilities such as work and taking care of the home. Of course, many parents will naturally prefer to do other things with their children, such as having fun and visiting places of interest. In addition, some parents might not be as experienced as teachers at teaching children, so the children might not learn as well as at school. There will always be plenty of parents who have the time, willingness and abilityto teach their children to be good members of society. However, many more will find it difficult and need extra help. Some will ask other parents or consult books or websites. I do not think there is anything wrong with this, but we should not assume that all parents will do it.In summary, I think parents will often teach their children to be good members of society, but this should mainly be done at schools.(294 words)名师点题剑桥雅思8作文(二)参考范文 2——建议是父母I think that the main responsibility for teaching children tobe good members of society lies with parents rather than schools and shall outline my reasons in this essay.I think that most parents know their children well enough to be able to teach them to be good members of society. At school, children are often in large classes and therefore do not receive so much individual attention. When teaching children to be good members of society, I think that this individual attention is important, because some will have learnt about membership of society and others not. The parents will generally know this and be able to fill a ny missing gaps in their child’s knowledge.Secondly, parents and their children will probably spend more time together in a variety of social situations, whereas teachers and their students spend most of their time together in the classroom. The variety of social situations gives the parents more teaching opportunities, for example while shopping, at public events and at family gatherings. Of course, these opportunities give children the chance to learn to be good members of society from other adults, not only from their parents.Thirdly, I believe that schools and teachers should focus on academic subjects. There is often little enough time for these at schools, so making parents responsible for non- academic things, such as teaching children to become good members of society is a good idea. However, there will be opportunities for teachers to point out in class how children can be good members of society, for example when teaching children about the environment. To conclude, I think there are clear advantages in having both parents and schools teach children how to be good members of society, but parents should take most of the responsibility.(294 words)更多剑8写作范文,请点击:剑8雅思写作范文。

剑8 TEST1Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this.Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.Nowadays, there is a debate who should be the moral teacher to the children. Some people consider that it is the parents’ duty to teach them. While, others hold the different view that school should burden the responsibility to let the children learn how to be good members of society. From my perspective, I suppose both have a deep impact on children. On the part of the parents, it is from their father and mother that children get a general idea of society at the beginning stage of their life. As is known to us, first impression is of great importance. Thus, parents should bear in mind that they might impart something helpful and beneficial on the children in their early childhood, which helps to shape their correct value of society and life. What’s more, parents, themselves may be the most influential role model in children’s eye so that parents should pay more attention to their own behavior and words. Therefore, parents shall educate children to be good members through the information they conveyed as well as their own behaviors. On the other hand, some are in favor of the opinion that school should provide a platform for children in terms of their morality. First, teacher refers to an authority in children’s view. Therefore, children are willing to obey what teacher told to them. Regarding to this, we may be sure that the teachers in the school shall be play a wholesome role in children’s growth. Furthermore, school is the place children make communication with others. Through the interaction, children may learn the merits from their peers as well as avoid the demerits, which is more persuasive. To conclude, I believe that combining the parents and the school may be the most effective way to help children shape their good personality and contribute a lot to the society.。
雅思8test1作文英文回答:In the realm of education, the debate over the relative merits of rote learning and critical thinking has been a long-standing one. While rote learning involves the memorization of facts and information, critical thinking emphasizes the development of analytical and problem-solving abilities. Both approaches have their own strengths and weaknesses, and the most effective educational system would likely incorporate elements of both.Rote learning can be advantageous in situations where memorization is essential, such as in the study of vocabulary, formulas, or historical dates. It provides a foundation of knowledge upon which critical thinking can be built. However, rote learning can also lead to superficial understanding and a lack of conceptual comprehension.Critical thinking, on the other hand, fosters deeperengagement with the material and encourages students to question, analyze, and evaluate information. It develops skills that are essential not only in academic settings but also in the workplace and in everyday life. Critical thinking allows individuals to make informed decisions, solve problems effectively, and adapt to changing circumstances.Ultimately, the choice between rote learning andcritical thinking should depend on the specific learning objectives and the level of cognitive development of the students. For young learners, rote learning can provide a necessary foundation, while for more advanced learners, critical thinking can become the primary focus.中文回答:教育领域中,关于死记硬背和批判性思维的相对优势一直存在争论。

剑8 1-1The pie chart below shows the main reasons why agricultural and land becomes less productive. Th table shows how these causes affected thress regions of the world during the 1990s.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. The pie chart shows that there are four main causes of farmland becoming degraded in the world today. Globally 65% of degradation is caused by too much animal grazing and tree clearance, constituting 35% and 30% respectively. A further 28% of global degradation is due to over-cultivation ofcrops. Other causes account for only 7% collectively. These causes affected different regions differently in the 1990s, with Europe having as much as 9.8% of degradation due to deforestation, while the impact of this on Oceania and North America was minimal, with only 1.7% and 2% of land affected respectively. Europe with the highest overall percentage of land degraded(23%),also suffered from over-cultivation(7.7%) and over-grazing(5.5%). In contrast, Oceania had 13% of degraded farmland and this was mainly due to over-grazing(11.3%). North America had a lower proportion of degraded land at only 5%, and the main causes of this were over-cultivation(3.3%) and , to lesser extent,over-grazing(1.5%).Overall, it is clear that Europe suffered more from farmland degradation than the other regions, and the main causes there were deforestation and over-cultivation.剑8 1-2Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Other, however, believe that school is the place to learn this.Discuss both these views and given your own opinion.A child’s education has never been about learning information and basic skills only. It has always included teaching the next generation how to be good members of society. Therefore , this cannot be the responsibility of the parents alone. In order to be a good member of any society the individual must respect and obey the rules of their community and share their values. Educating children tounderstand the need to be obey rules and respects others always begins in the home and is widely though to be the responsibility of parents. They will certainly be the first to help children learn what is important in life, how, they are expected to behave and what role they will play in their world. However learning to understand and share the value system of a whole society cannot be achieved just in the home. Once a child goes to school, they are entering a wider community where teachers and peers will have just as much influence as their parents do at home. At school, children will experience working and living with people from a whole variety of background from the wider society. This experience should teach them how to co-operate with each other and how to contribute to the life of their community. But to be a valuable member of any community is not like learning a simple skill. It is something that an individual goes on learning throughout life and it is the responsibility of every member of a society to take responsibility for helping the younger generation to become active and able members of that society.剑8 2-1The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by a particular UK school in 1981,1991 and 2001.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. The charts show how much a UK school spent on different running costs in three separate years 1981,1991 and 2001.In all three years, the greatest expenditure was on staff salaries. But while other workers salaries saw a fail from 28% in 1981 to only 15% of spending in 2001,teachers pay remained the biggest cost reaching 50% of total spendingin 1991 and ending at 45% in 2001.Expenditure on resources such as books had increased to 20% by 1991 before decreasing to only 9% by the end of the period. In contrast, the cost of furniture and equipment saw an opposite trend. This cost decreased to only 5% of total expenditure in 1991 but rose dramatically in 2001 when it represented 23% of the school budget. Similarly, the cost of insurance saw a rising trend, growing from only 2% to 8% by 2001.Overall, teachers’ salaries constituted the largest cost to the school, and while spending increased dramatically for equipment and insurance, there were corresponding drops in expenditure on things such as books on other wokers’salaries.剑8 3-2Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree? What other measures do you think might be effective? There is no doubt that traffic and pollution from vehicles have become huge problems, both in cities and on motorways everywhere. Solving these problems is likely to need more than a simple rise in the price of petrol. While it is undeniable that private car use is one of the main causes of the increase in traffic and pollution.higher fuel costs are unlikely to limit the number of drivers for long. As this policy would also affect the cost of public transport, it would be very unpopular with everyone who needs to travel on the roads. But there are various other measures that could be implemented thatwould have a huge effect on these problems.I think to tackle the problem of pollution, cleaner fuels need to be developed. The technology is already available to produce electric cars that would be both quieter and cleaner to use. Persuading manufacturers and travellers to adopt this new technology would be a more effective strategy for improving are quality, especially in cities. However, traffic congestion will not be solved by changing the type of private vehicle people can use. To do this, we need to improve the choice of public transport services available to travellers. For example, if sufficient sky trains and underground train systems were built and effectively maintained in our major cities, then traffic on the roads would be dramatically reduced. Long-distance train and coach services should be made attractive and affordable alternatives to driving your own car for long journeys. In conclusion, i think that long-term traffic and pollution reductions would depend on educating the public to use public transport more, and on governments using public money to construct and run efficient systems.。

I think they're mostly based on the considerations that the environment we live in has been polluted heavily and there are severe food security problems in China. People are fearing that they may get sick by eating polluted food outside.do people like houses attached with garden?Firstly, I guess it's because people are like rare things as there is a huge population in China and people are mostly live in apartments, it is very seldom for people to live in a house with garden. The second reason I can think of is that nowadays people mostly work among skyscrapers and it'll be very comfortable and released for them to see green stuff back home.you often go to visit gardens? No, not really, I think that's probably because there are few gardens in the downtown area.there any houses or apartments with gardens?Yes, there are houses with individual gardens and they are mostly in the rural area. As for apartments, usually there is a garden in the middle of the neighborhood.houses, is there any other types of housing with gardens?Eh, No, I don’t think so. And it's usually constructed and run by government, which means citizens have already paid for it by taxes. So, I don't think it's appropriate for parks to sell tickets. They should be free to the public.雅思口语part1范文(篇十二)Describe a historical building in your country. You should say:where it iswhen and who you went withwhat it is likeand explain why you think you wanted to visit it.I don’t think you can t alk about historical buildings in China without mentioning one of the most recognizable buildings in the world, the Great Wall. It is located in the north of China, with some parts close to the capital, Beijing.I visited it with my parents and siblings during a summer vacation a few years ago. Unfortunately this is peak season as the weather is glorious and people like to travel during this period, so it was jam-packed. The Great Wall is one of China’s premier tourist attractions and as such is a major draw. The Wall itself was fantastic. As it is an ancient structure, partsof it are ruined due to the effects of time, but other parts havebeen reconstructed for tourists in order for them to see how it would have looked, as well as making it safe to climb. When you look out across the hills and mountains, it seems to go on forever, as far as the eyes can see.I wanted to visit the Great Wall as it is an iconic building in China, no trip to Beijing is complete without a jaunt out to the Wall. Asfar as I’m co ncerned it has a timeless quality and I could spend all day walking up and down it. It was voted one of the Seven New Wonders of the World and people say it is visible from space, although thisis actually a misconception.雅思口语part1范文(篇十三)it good for children to take part in the teamwork?a leader important for teamwork?are the disadvantages of teamwork?one do you prefer, project-based teamwork or function based teamwork?is necessary for people to be good team members (not leader)?Sample answers:, I think so. Children cannot always work alone and many tasks and projects can only be accomplished through collective efforts. Also,in the future, no matter in their college life or in their career, they may be required to work in a team. But, the problem is that children tend to be more self-centered than adults and when they are very little kids, they usually do not know how to cooperate with others. So, if chances are provided, children should take part in the teamwork, trying to help each other, figure out solutions and improve their cooperation skills., of course. There should be someone to make final decisions and lead the team in the right directions. Although teamwork does have the advantages like less individual responsibility, less workload and so on, it does have the problems that some thoughts might conflict with others. The whole project may reach a plateau. If a leader is elected, he/she can make decision to take whose ideas, eliminating the conflicts.teamwork, it is hard to allocate the tasks equally to everyone. Some team members may feel unfair. For example, to writing a research paper, a team member may be responsible for collecting related information; another team member may be assigned to do some experiments. It is likely that collecting information is verydifficult, while finishing the experiments is comparatively easier. So the one who searches for information may feel unfair.prefer function based teamwork. You know, in a function based team, everyone’s duty is clear-cut. Many redundancy can be reduced in this way. For example, in the app team, there might be 2 Android engineers, 2 IOS engineers, 1 project manager and 1 editor. According the titles of these positions, you can see that this is a function based team. I think less redundancy means higher working efficiency.think a good team member should have strong sense of responsibility. He or she has to make every efforts to accomplish his or her duties with high efficiency and quality. Thus, the leader doesn’t need to spend too much time on supervising his/her team members, taking more time to make important decisions and formulate blueprint for new projects. Thus, the whole team’s performance can be greatly enhanced.雅思口语part1范文(篇十四)you send gifts to others quite often?kind of gifts are popular in your country?there some special gifts in your country?are the difference between the gifts sent nowadays and those sent in the past?you have a child, when will you give presents to him/her?do you feel about receiving an expensive gift?Sample answers:really. Only when someone invite to their home or attend some kind of celebrations will I send gifts to others. For example, when one of my friends invited me to attend her wedding, I sent her a microwave oven as a gift. And usually, Chinese prefer to give red envelope with 500 RMB to 2000 RMB to the inviters instead of sending gifts. In this way, the inviters can use this amount of money to purchase whatever she/he likes.a common visit, we tend to send fruits, cookies and the like to the host. You know, most of people like to eat this kind of things. Andwe don’t want to send something the host doesn’t like. So food is always one of the best choices. For some important occasions like wedding ceremonies, we prefer to send household appliances as gifts. To conclude, Chinese are more willing to send necessities as gifts.my point of view, red envelope seems to be one of the special giftsin China. Every time when we celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year, the elder would give red envelope to kids. Usually, within these red envelopes is money, ranging from 100 RMB to several thousand RMB.This money is called lucky money. The elder hopes the luck money can bless the kids have a lucky, happy new year.the past, like my parents, usually sent health products to the old as gifts. In their view, these products did good to people’s health. However, notion of health has undergone great changes. People startto recognize that most of these products exaggerated their pesticide effect and some of them even have many side effects. As a result, nowadays people send other kinds of things such as fruits, cookies or household appliances as gifts.would give presents to him/her when he she celebrate for birthdays or for some other important events. For example, when he/she graduates from university, I would send him/her a business suit as presents. You know, after graduation, he/she has to look for a job and takelots of interviews. A business suit is necessary for interviews, which might leave employers good impression of the interviewers.depends on who send me this expensive gift. If one of my friend, not a close friend, send me an expensive gift, I would feel a little bit nervous. And maybe later, I would send something back. However, if my parents send me a MacBook, I will not feel a great burden. You know, in Chinese cultural, how much expensive gifts you send depends on the relationship between you and the receiver. Too much or too less are both improper.。

雅思剑桥八test1作文In recent years, there has been a growing concern about the impact of technology on people's lives. While some argue that technology has greatly improved our lives, others believe that it has caused more harm than good. In this essay, I will explore the various perspectives on this issue and provide my own opinion on the matter. One of the main arguments in favor of technology is its ability to improve communication and connectivity. With the advent of smartphones and social media, people are now able to stay in touch with friends and family members regardless of their location. This has undoubtedly made the world a smaller place and has facilitated the exchange of ideas and information on a global scale. Additionally, technology has also revolutionized the way we work, allowing for greaterflexibility and efficiency in the workplace. On the other hand, there are those who argue that technology has led to a decline in face-to-face interactions and has contributed to a sense of isolation and disconnection among individuals. With the rise of social media and online communication, many people have become more reliant on virtual interactions, leading to a decrease in real-life socialization. Furthermore, the constant use of technology has been linked to a rise in mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, as individuals are constantly bombarded with information and areunable to disconnect from the digital world.Another aspect to consider is the impact of technology on education. Proponents argue that technology has greatly enhanced the learning experience, providing students with access to a wealth of information and resources. With the use of computers and the internet, students are able to conduct research and collaborate with peers more easily. However, critics argue that technology hasalso led to a decrease in critical thinking and problem-solving skills, asstudents rely too heavily on search engines and online resources for their academic needs. In addition, the impact of technology on the economy is a topic of much debate. While technology has undoubtedly led to increased efficiency and productivity in many industries, it has also resulted in job displacement and a widening wealthgap. As automation and artificial intelligence continue to advance, many fear that a large portion of the workforce will become obsolete, leading to increased unemployment and economic instability. In conclusion, it is evident that technology has both positive and negative effects on society. While it has greatly improved communication, connectivity, and efficiency, it has also led to a decline in face-to-face interactions, mental health issues, and job displacement. It is important for individuals to strike a balance and use technology in a mindful and responsible manner, in order to mitigate its negative effects and maximize its benefits. Only by being aware of the potential drawbacks of technology can we hope to harness its full potentialfor the betterment of society.。

剑8雅思口语Test1Part1范文
1. How well do you know the people who live next door to you?
Honestly, I don’t know them well. I guess this is just part of the urban life. Look, I get up at 7 or before 7 every morning to commute to work and come back late every night. You know, it’s a city thing, work, stress, transportation, traffic jam and stuff. And once I get home, I always can’t wait to hit my pillow. So how could I possibly have any free time to care to know who they really are or even to socialize with them? It’ll be all good to me as long as they’re not terrorists or some homicide fugitives.
Well, I can’t say I know my neighbors very well, but I guess I do know something about them, like where they’re from and what they do for a living.
2. How often do you see them? [Why/Why not?]
Though I can’t help bumping into them from time to time, we never really talked. You know, it’s like you just don’t feel like talking to a stranger unless he/she first speaks to you. And I guess he thinks the same about me.
I guess it’s quite often. I keep running into them either before work or after work. That’s when we all stand in the hallway waiting for the elevator to come. Then we would talk about just this and that, some small talks.
3. What kinds of problem do people sometimes have with their neighbors?
Well, I’ve never had any problems with my neighbors or maybe just not yet. But I’ve heard people talk about it from time to time. And it seems to me that people complain about the noise their neighbors make quite a lot. Apart from that, I just can’t think of anything else right now.
The biggest problem a lot of people have with their neighbors is the public space in the hallway. Look, I have a neighbor who puts his motorbike in there. Not only does his motorbike make the whole place look bad, but also it’s unsafe in case of emergency, say fire or earthquake. I really hate it.
4. How do you think neighbors can help each other?
It’s not really easy for neighbors to help each other if they’re not acquainted well. That I mean small help, but I guess neighbors can really come in handy in case of emergency. That’s all I have now in mind at the moment.
There are quite a lot of things neighbors can do to help each other from moving some furniture to looking after child, from car sharing to property watching. Anyway,。
