深圳职业技术学院简介深圳职业技术学院是一所以培养生产、建设、管理、服务一线的高素质技术应用型人才为主的全日制普通高等院校。
学校现有东、西、华侨城三大校区,占地面积168万平方米,建筑面积49.32万平方米;有教学科研仪器设备3.83万台套,总值3.37亿元;纸质图书藏书120万册,电子图书61万种;校园网拥有信息点2.8万个;建有设施齐全的校内实训基地——工业训练中心,有实训(验)室26个,下设实训(验)分室108个,设备总投入2亿余元。
学校现设经济管理学院、机电工程学院、电子与信息工程学院、艺术设计学院、应用外国语学院、建筑与环境工程学院、动画学院、汽车与交通学院、医学技术与护理学院、应用化学与生物技术学院、媒体与传播学院、继续教育学院、培训学院等13个学院。
共有教师1162人,其中高级职称教师394人。
现有全日制在校生近2万人,非全日制各类成教学生5500余人。
1996年4月,学校被定为全国高职教育改革试点院校;2001年,学校成为全国示范性职业技术学院建设院校,首家通过国家示范性实践教学基地的优秀级评估。
2001年学校《高等职业技术教育人才培养模式探索与实践》成果获第四届国家级教学成果一等奖。
2005年学校《高职院校实践教学体系构建与实践教学基地建设的理论研究和实践探索》成果再次获得第五届国家级教学成果一等奖。
2003年1月,学校成为国家重点建设职业技术学院。
2003年9月,在教育部首次组织的全国高职高专院校人才培养工作水平评估中,我校15项评估指标中均获“优秀”,是全国唯一一所成绩获全优的高校。
2006年12月,学校入选“国家示范性高等职业院校建设计划”首批建设院校行列。

虽然深圳职业技术学院属于职业技术学院,但是学校在办学理念、学科专业设置、实训基地建设、课程建设、师资队伍建设以及教学质量评价制度、年终考核制度、人事分配制度等方面有许多可资借鉴的做法。
