bamboo and paper in the old days. Now they are made of many kinds of materials, such as steel, silk, cloth,

plastic and so on. They are made all around China. Lanterns are made in the shape of different animals,

Title: My Summer Vacation

Hi everyone! My name is Lily, and I want to tell you all about

my summer vacation in 2024. This year, my family and I went to

Beijing, specifically to the West City District, for our summer

holiday.

We stayed in a cozy little hotel near the Forbidden City,

which is super cool because we got to visit it almost every day.

The first day, we took a guided tour and learned all about the

history of the place. Did you know that it used to be the imperial

palace of ancient China? How awesome is that!

After that, we went to the Great Wall of China. It was so huge

and amazing, I felt like I was in a movie or something. We even

got to climb some of the stairs and take pictures. I can't wait to

show them to my friends back home! We also visited some traditional Chinese temples and tried
