2.请两位同学上黑板写出比较级和最高级。
3.核对答案。
4.请学生读这些单词。
Step 3 read and write1.思考一下自己的年龄，身高，体重等，并写下来。
2.思考自己最好朋友的信息，并写下来。
3.同桌之间互换看对方写的内容，看是否有语法和单词拼写错误。
4.老师请两位同学读自己写的内容。
5.老师评论学生写的信息。
Step 5 Fact File.1.询问学生本单元学习的话题。
2.引导学生说一说他们还知道哪些特殊的事物，如最高的山，最长的河等。
T:which river is the longest river in the world?3.让学生看71页上面的四幅照片，根据自己的知识猜一猜图片是哪里，主要讲什么。
4.让学生阅读照片提示的文字。
5.学习图片内容。
利用图片，视频资料帮助学生记忆、理解。

【教学建议】I．Get Ready1．采用问答的方式，引导学生说一说家人的身高、年龄或体重。
2．引导学生比较自己家人的身高、年龄等，采用问答的方式，让学生说一说。
II．Read and Write1．读信件（1）让学生看页面上的信件，找出这封信是谁写的、写给谁的。
（2）让学生看插图，浏览信件内容，说一说信的内容是关于什么的。
（3）让学生独立阅读信件，根据内容说一说空白处缺什么内容。
（4）让学生再读一遍，从方框中选择合适的单词，补全信件。
（5）教师朗读，全班一起核对完成情况。
2．写一写（1）告诉学生接下来写一写他们的家庭成员，写一写家里谁最高、最年长等。
（2）可以让学生两人一组先相互说一说。
（3）给学生时间，独立写语句。
可以鼓励学生画出家庭成员或准备一张家庭照片，贴在空白的位置上。
（4）让学生朗读他们写出的句子。
III．Listen and Practice1．让学生看插图，说一说插图的内容。
2．引导学生看插图下的说明文字，试着朗读句子。
3．播放录音，让学生听录音，模仿朗读。
4．播放录音，引导学生注意阴影部分的字母，让学生比较每个句子阴影部分发音是否相同。

Unit5 单元分析单元教学目标一、技能目标1.能够结合插图和人物对话读懂故事叙述文本：2.能够说明人物的身高、大小、体重等；3.能够比较人物或物品的大小、高矮、轻重等；4.能够在插图和录音的帮助下讲述故事的主要内容。
二、知识目标1. 语音：区别字母e和a在单词中的发音；在朗读时句子的节奏和韵律自然；2. 词汇：［话题词汇］关于身高、体重的词汇：height, weight, kilogram, centimeter；描述人物、物品特征的形容词：big/small, long/short, young/old, heavy/thin；3. 句型：能够运用How tall are you? I’m…centimeters tail. How much do you weigh? I weigh…kilograms.询问或说明身高或体重。
能运用You are taller than Ann. You are the tallest. 对两个或多个人物的身高或体重等做出比较。
4. 语法：了解在比较两个或多个物品时句子中的形容词会发生变化。
三、情感、策略、文化、意识目标通过故事中由于Mocky暗中捣鬼，导致小主人公测量体重出现偏差的情节，培养学生欣赏、理解故事中的幽默。
单元内容分析本单元的话题是“身高与体重”，主要安排了说明身高、体重，以及比较身高、体重等表达法的学习。
Get Ready部分呈现了描述人物体貌特征的形容词，以及询问和说明身高、体重的表达法How tall is she? She is…centimeters tall. How much does he weigh? He weighs... kilograms.这些形容词并不都是新内容，因此，询问和说明身高和体重的相关表达法是本部分的重点内容，为学生学习、理解故事做语言的铺垫。
本单元故事讲述的是Ken和Arm带Mocky在购物中心测量身高、体重，调皮的Mocky在他们称体重时做了手脚，结果测量结果着实让他们迷惑了好一会儿。

3．让学生找一找本单元还出现了哪些形容词，补充表格的内容。
III．Group the Words1．让学生观察完成表格中形容词变化的特点，说一说变化的规律。
2．让学生根据发现的规律.给这些形容词分组。
3．让学生说一说他们分组的情况，全班一起核对答案。
IV．Read and Write1．告诉学生接下来需要他们填写有关个人情况的信息，让学生看页面上的表，给学生时间独立完成。
