教学对象初中一年级下学期教学目标1. 知识目标了解并掌握be动词和行为动词过去式的构成。
了解一般过去时的结构和用法。
2. 能力目标根据情境正确使用一般过去时谈论过去的事件。
3. 情感目标保护动物,拯救地球。
教学策略本节课主要围绕各个教学任务设计教学,并配有及时的反馈练习,注意讲练结合,培养学生的英语综合应用能力。
同时,在每个环节给学生提启发性的问题,激发他们的兴趣,让他们自己去探索和总结,学会自主学习。

What day is it day? .....I also want to know something about you. …How old are you? When were you born?....How old is he/she? When was he/she born?....Was he born in …?Look at the screen. Please compare these sentences. What differences can you find ?….Answer T’s questions and compare the sentences on the screen to find out the differences between the simple present tense and the simple past tense.通过问一些学生已经掌握的问题来消除学生的紧张感,同时通过这些简单的问题导入新课。
通过对比学生能初步了解一般过去时的概念。
Step 2. Presentation3分钟T: Today we’ll learn the simple past tense. When should we use the simple past tense?(We use the simple past tense to talk about things in the past. )What kind of time expressions ta lks about the past?For example, “yesterday” talks about the past, what other words do you know? When we use the verbs of “to be” in the simple past tense, we should change them.To find out more time expre ssions about the past together, and learn the verbs of “to be” in the simple past tense with the teacher.通过找时间状语学生能知道在什么情况下使用一般过去时,并了解使用该时态be动词的变化。
Step 3. Practice5分钟Simon and Sandy are talking about something happened yesterday. Let’s complete their conversation.Complete theconversation andcheck the answers.通过练习,学生巩固be动词一般过去时的用法。
Step4.Conclusion3分钟Make a conclusion with thestudents.Make the conclusiontogether.学生自己进行总结可以让他们对课堂上学的东西进行进一步的回忆和归纳,加深印象。
Step5.A guessing game5分钟(Was he …?)Oh., he was in hospital.What happened to him?Tell a story about Daniel.In the simple past tense, wealso need to change the verbs.Tell the story andlearn the verbs in thesimple past tense.设置小游戏,活跃课堂气氛,避免语法课的枯燥无味。
Step 6. Practice10分钟1.Find the room-mates.We plus “ed” afterboth” ask” and“look” . so “ask”and “look” areroommates. Can you find other room-mates? You can havea discussion.(readthese the words)2.Work out the rules.So do you knowhow to change theverbs?3.Beside these regular verbs, we also have some irregularverbs. Let’s readthe m together. 后面的练习,让学生对刚学的知识能及时地巩固。
Step7.Conclusion3分钟Make a conclusion:1.How to make positive and negative sentences.2.How to ask questions.Make the conclusion together.学生通过归纳总结再次回忆了前面的内容,教师对这些总结进行整理,使条理更加清晰,帮助那些自己不会总结的学生理解。
Step8.Presentation2分钟Daniel was in hospital. What a pity! He couldn’t go to the Funny World Museum with Millie. In the museum, Millis saw some strange animal. Le t’s see what they are.(dodo, poisonous, frog)Learn dodo,poisonous and frog.图文并茂,生动形象地学习新单词,导入新授。

Step10.Homework1.Finish Part A2 on P67 and Part B2 on P69.2. Remember the simple past tense of the verbs.让学生课后能得到巩固。
教学反思本节课是一节语法课,语法课本身就带有一定的枯燥性,所以要引导学生自己去发现问题,解决问题,让他们参与到总结语法规律的过程当中,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,还培养了他们自主学习的能力。
设计的练习也是根据不同的任务由浅入深,层层深入,给学生以及时的巩固。
教师及时的点评又让学生在完成这些任务时享受到了成功的快乐,从而保证了学生学习英语兴趣的持久性。
但在完成故事描述这一任务时可能会有困难,这时教师应给予适当的指导。
在教学活动中,学生是学习的主体,教师是学习的主导者。
不同的教学内容可以采用不同的模式。
本案例不仅体现了英语教学的特色,还锻炼了学生的自主学习能力和口头表达能力。
