The New Year is a time for resolutions. 我们可以说:September is a time for you to make a game plan.
(I am a new student in college)- 我正在适应大学生活 (I am adjusting to college life)- 我正在学习各种基础课程 (I am studying various foundational courses)- 我正在结交新朋友 (I am making new friends)- 我有很多新的经历和挑战 (I have many new experiences and challenges)大二 (Second year):- 我已经适应了大学生活 (I have adapted to college life)- 我正在深入学习专业课程 (I am diving deeper into my major courses)- 我正在参加各种社团活动 (I am participating in various club activities)- 我正在寻找实习机会 (I am looking for internship opportunities) - 我感觉比大一更有自信 (I feel more confident than in my first year)大三 (Third year):- 我已经进入大学生活的中期 (I have entered the mid-term of college life)- 我正在进行实习或实践项目 (I am doing internships or practical projects)- 我正在准备毕业后的职业规划 (I am preparing for post-graduation career planning)- 我已经建立了一些深厚的友谊 (I have formed some strongfriendships)- 我正在思考未来的发展方向 (I am contemplating future development directions)大四 (Fourth year):- 我即将毕业 (I am about to graduate)- 我正在完成学业并准备毕业论文 (I am completing my studies and preparing for my thesis)- 我正在寻找工作或研究生院 (I am searching for jobs or graduate schools)- 我正在回顾自己在大学的成长和经历 (I am reflecting on my growth and experiences in college)- 我有些紧张但也充满期待 (I feel somewhat nervous but also excited)。
大一下学期英语学习自我规划英文作文My Big Plan for Studying English Next SemesterHi there! My name is Johnny and I'm nine years old. I just finished my first semester of fourth grade and I have to tell you, learning English is really hard! I'm glad I get a little break from it over the winter holiday. But I know next semester I need to try my best to get better at English if I want to do well in school. My English teacher, Mrs. Roberts, is always telling us how important it is to learn English well. She says it will help us get good jobs when we're older since English is spoken all over the world. I'm not sure what job I want yet, but I don't want a boring one where I just sit at a desk all day. Maybe I'll be a marine biologist and get to study cool animals like sharks and whales! Or a pro basketball player - that would be awesome. Whatever I do, I'll need to know good English. So I've made a plan for things I can do over the break and then next semester to help me learn English better. First, I'm going to practice my English reading skills. My parents got me some Magic Tree House books for Christmas and they look really cool. They're about a brother and sister who travel through time and have all sorts of crazy adventures. Best of all, they're writtenin English at about my reading level, so I should be able to understand most of it. I'm going to try to read one book every week or two.Reading is great for learning new vocabulary words, but I also need to practice my listening skills. Fortunately, my aunt got me a subscription to an awesome kid's audiobook service for Christmas! It has hundreds of books and stories that are read out loud. My plan is to listen to one story each day, maybe while getting ready for bed or having a snack. Hearing English spoken will really help my ears get used to it.Another thing I'm going to keep doing is watching movies and TV shows in English. We have Netflix, Disney+, and a bunch of other streaming services, so there's lots to choose from. My favorite is definitely Marvel movies - I've probably seen every single one! The punching, explosions, and superheroes using their powers makes the action scenes so epic. It can be a little hard to understand what they're saying sometimes with all the noise, but I try my best. When I'm watching those movies, I turn on the English subtitles so I can read along. That helps a lot with comprehending what's happening. I also make sure to pay close attention any time there's a funny joke or bit of dialogue that Idon't fully understand. I'll rewind and listen to it over and over until I get it. My parents are probably annoyed by how many times I rewatch the same scenes, but hey - it's helping me learn!Speaking of my parents, they've been really supportive of my efforts to get better at English. We have a deal where for every hour I spend reading, listening to audiobooks, or watching English movies and shows, they give me a gold star sticker. Once I get ten stickers, I get a prize like a new book, video game, or toy. I've already earned two prizes this year! Having that extra motivation from the rewards really helps me stay on track.Of course, the best way to practice my English skills is by actually using the language to communicate. My parents don't know too much English, so I can't really practice conversing with them. But I do have a British pen pal named Emma that I write letters to every couple of weeks. We met through an international pen pal program at school and have been corresponding for almost a year now.In her last letter, Emma told me all about her family's trip to France during the summer to visit relatives. She described the delicious French food they ate, like croissants, crepes, and crème brûlée (I had to look up how to spell those!). She also mentioned how beautiful the architecture was in Paris with all the oldbuildings and the Eiffel Tower. Emma used a ton of vocabulary words I didn't know, so I had to look up their meanings. I kept a list of the words to study and practice using in my reply letter. That's another big part of my English study plan for next semester - keeping a vocabulary journal. Whenever I come across a new English word that I don't know, either from reading, listening to audio, or watching shows, I write it down. Then I note what the word means, make a sample sentence using it, and put a little star next to words that seem really useful or common. The next day, I'll spend about 15-20 minutes reviewing and quizzing myself on the new vocabulary words I learned. My hope is that building up my vocabulary will help make it easier for me to understand what I'm reading, watching, and hearing in English. It should also allow me to express myself better when writing and speaking. Maybe I'll even learn enough fancy vocabulary to impress Emma with my next pen pal letter! In addition to building my vocabulary, I'm also planning to spend more time studying English grammar rules. That's probably my biggest weakness right now - I struggle with things like verb tenses, subject/verb agreement, punctuation, and all those nitpicky details. Grammar exercises in workbooks or onlinejust seem so boring and tedious, but I know they're important if I want to write and speak properly. So my trick is going to be rewarding myself with something fun after spending concentrated time working on grammar. For example, I'll make a deal with myself that if I complete 20 minutes of grammar activities really focusing hard, I can then spend 15 minutes playing my favorite video game. Or I'll tell myself that after finishing one page of grammar practice problems, I can take a break to eat a small candy bar or some other little treat. Doing it this way with little rewards for my efforts should make grammar practice a bit more bearable. The last big component of my English study plan is to take advantage of online language learning programs and apps. My parents got me a subscription to an app called Babbel that's supposed to be really good for learning English and other languages through interactive lessons and speech recognition. It has all kinds of different activities and games to make practicing English fun. There's also a website called Duolingo that's free and focuses on vocabulary, grammar, listening comprehension, and other skills through quick exercises. I'll probably spend 20-30 minutes each day working through new Babbel and Duolingolessons. Keeping things varied and switching between different learning methods like that should help reinforce what I'm studying in a more engaging way than just reading from a textbook over and over.Whew, writing down my whole English study plan for next semester makes it seem like a lot of work! But I know it will be worth it to improve my English abilities. Getting better at reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, and grammar will help me a ton in all my other classes too, not just English. It will allow me to understand lessons better, communicate more clearly with teachers and classmates, and score higher on tests and assignments. Most importantly though, becoming more fluent in English will open up so many more opportunities for me in the future when I'm an adult. I could get a fun job traveling around the world, making new discoveries, or doing something else really exciting and interesting. English is a crucial skill that will enrich my life in more ways than I can even imagine right now.So that's my big plan for dedicated English learning in the second semester - read actively, listen to audiobooks, watch shows with subtitles, keep a vocabulary journal, study grammar, use apps and websites, and write to my pen pal. Following thisroutine while staying motivated with little rewards should make a huge difference in taking my English abilities to the next level. I'll probably still find parts of it challenging, but as long as I stick to my plan and don't give up, I'm confident my English will continue improving. Wish me luck!。
