双语格林童话:穷人和富人ThepoormanandtherichmanThe rich man had now gained what he wanted, so he rode home, and began to consider what he should wish for. As he was thus thinking he let the bridle fall, and the horse began to caper about, so that he was continually disturbed in his meditations, and could not collect his thoughts at all. He patted its neck, and said, "Gently, Lisa," but the horse only began new tricks. Then at last he was angry, and cried quite impatiently, "I wish your neck was broken!" Directly he had said the words, down the horse fell on the ground, and there it lay dead and never moved again. And thus was his first wish fulfilled. As he was miserly by nature, he did not like to leave the harness lying there; so he cut it off, and put it on his back; and now he had to go on foot. "I have still two wishes left," said he, and comforted himself with that thought. And now as he was walking slowly through the sand, and the sun was burning hot at noon-day, he grew quite hot-tempered and angry. The saddle hurt his back, and he had not yet any idea what to wish for. "If I were to wish for all the riches and treasures in the world," said he to himself, "I should still to think of all kinds of other things later on, I know that, beforehand. But I will manage so that there is nothing at all left me to wish for afterwards." Then he sighed and said, "Ah, if I were but that Bavarian peasant, who likewise had three wishes granted to him, and knew quite well what to do, and in the first place wished for a great deal of beer, and in the second for as much beer as he was able to drink, and in the third for a barrel of beer into the bargain."Many a time he thought he had found it, but then it seemed to him to be, after all, too little. Then it came into his mind, whatan easy life his wife had, for she stayed at home in a cool room and enjoyed herself. This really did vex him, and before he was aware, he said, "I just wish she was sitting there on this saddle, and could not get off it, instead of my having to drag it along on my back." And as the last word was spoken, the saddle disappeared from his back, and hesaw that his second wish had been fulfilled. Then he really did feel warm. He began to run and wanted to be quite alone in his own room at home, to think of something really large for his last wish. But when he arrived there and opened the parlour-door, he saw his wife sitting in the middle of the room on the saddle, crying and complaining, and quite unable to get off it. So he said, "Do bear it, and I will wish for all the riches on earth for thee, only stay where thou art." She, however, called him a fool, and said, "What good will all the riches on earth do me, if I am to sit on this saddle? Thou hast wished me on it, so thou must help me off." So whether he would or not, he was forced to let his third wish be that she should be quit of the saddle, and able to get off it, and immediately the wish was fulfilled. So he got nothing by it but vexation, trouble, abuse, and the loss of his horse; but the poor people lived happily, quietly, and piously until their happy death.古时候,上帝在那时还习惯于亲自与地球上的凡人打交道。

穷人与富人的仿写作文英文回答:Being poor and being rich are two completely different experiences in life. As someone who has experienced both, I can say that the differences are stark and profound. When I was poor, I struggled to make ends meet. I hadto work multiple jobs just to put food on the table and pay the bills. I lived in a small, cramped apartment withbarely enough space to move around. I couldn't afford to go on vacations or indulge in any luxuries. Every penny counted, and I had to be extremely careful with my spending. On the other hand, being rich has its own set of challenges and advantages. I no longer have to worry about money or financial stability. I can afford to live in a spacious house with all the amenities I desire. I cantravel the world and experience different cultures. I can buy expensive clothes and dine at fancy restaurants. Moneyis no longer a constraint in my life. However, being rich also comes with its own set of problems. People often have high expectations of you and may treat you differently because of your wealth. It can be difficult to trust others and know if they genuinely care about you or just want to take advantage of your money. Additionally, managing wealth requires a lot of responsibility and careful planning. It's important to make wise investments and ensure that your money is working for you.中文回答:穷人和富人是两种完全不同的生活体验。

穷人和富人英语作文小学Rich and Poor。
There is a big difference between rich people and poor people. Rich people have a lot of money and can afford to buy anything they want. They live in big houses, drivefancy cars, and wear expensive clothes. They go onvacations to exotic places and eat at fancy restaurants. On the other hand, poor people struggle to make ends meet. They live in small houses or apartments, drive old cars, and wear cheap clothes. They can only dream of going on vacation or eating at a nice restaurant. However, being rich or poor is not just about money. Rich people often have access to better education, healthcare, and opportunities. They can afford to sendtheir children to private schools and colleges, which gives them a better chance of succeeding in life. They can also afford to go to the doctor when they are sick and get the best medical care available. Poor people, on the other hand, may not have access to these resources and may struggle to get ahead in life.Despite these differences, both rich and poor people have the same basic needs and desires. They all want to be happy, healthy, and secure. They want to have a roof over their heads, food on the table, and clothes on their backs. They want to be able to take care of their families andlive a comfortable life. In the end, it is not about how much money you have, but how you choose to live your life.In conclusion, the gap between rich and poor is a reality in our society. While some people have more money and resources than others, we are all human beings with the same basic needs and desires. It is important to treat everyone with respect and compassion, regardless of their financial status. We should strive to create a more equal and just society where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.。

富豪与穷人的英语作文The Disparity Between the Rich and the Poor。
The world is filled with people from all walks of life, and one of the most striking differences among them is the gap between the rich and the poor. This divide has been a topic of discussion for centuries, and it continues to be a pressing issue in today's society. On one end of the spectrum, we have the wealthy individuals who seem to have it all. They live in luxurious homes, drive expensive cars, and have access to the best education and healthcare. Their lives are filled with opportunities and possibilities, and they have the means to pursue their dreams and ambitions. The rich have the power to influence and shape the world around them, and they often enjoy a level of comfort and security that is out of reach for the majority of the population. On the other end of the spectrum, we have the poorindividuals who struggle to make ends meet. They live in overcrowded and rundown neighborhoods, rely on public transportation, and often lack access to quality education and healthcare. Their lives are marked by hardship and uncertainty, and they are often forced to make difficult choices just to survive. The poor have little to no influence on the world around them, and they are constantly at the mercy of external forces that dictate their circumstances. The divide between the rich and the poor is not only a matter of material wealth, but also a matter of opportunity and privilege. The wealthy are able to provide their children with the best education and resources, setting them up for success from an early age. Meanwhile, the poor are often trapped in a cycle of poverty, with limited access to the tools and support they need to improve their lives. This gap between the rich and the poor is not just a moral issue, but also a social and economic one. It hasfar-reaching implications for the well-being of society asa whole. Inequality breeds resentment and division, and it can lead to social unrest and instability. Moreover, it hinders economic growth and development, as it limits the potential of a significant portion of the population.Addressing the disparity between the rich and the poor requires a multifaceted approach. It involves creating policies and programs that aim to level the playing field and provide equal opportunities for all. This can include initiatives to improve access to education, healthcare, and affordable housing, as well as measures to promote economic mobility and reduce income inequality.Furthermore, it requires a shift in societal attitudes and values. We must move away from a culture of individualism and self-interest, and instead embrace a sense of collective responsibility and empathy. We must recognize that we are all part of the same community, and that the well-being of one group is interconnected with the well-being of all.In conclusion, the gap between the rich and the poor isa complex and pressing issue that has profound implications for society as a whole. It is a matter of both social justice and economic prosperity, and it requires a concerted effort to address. By working together to create a more equitable and inclusive society, we can build a better future for all.。
poor and rich英语故事Once upon a time, in a small village, there were two families living next door to each other. One family was very poor, struggling to make ends meet every day, while the other family was very wealthy, living in a grand mansion with servants to cater to their every need. Despite their differing social statuses, the two families interacted regularly, with the children playing together in the village square.
The poor family, consisting of a single mother and her three children, worked hard every day just to put food on the table. The children often went to bed hungry, their mother sacrificing her own meals so they could have enough to eat. Despite their hardships, they were always grateful for what they had and never complained about their situation.穷人家庭由一个单身母亲和三个孩子组成,他们每天都很努力工作,只是为了能够有饭吃。
双语格林童话:穷人和富人ThepoormanandtherichmanIn olden times, when the Lord himself still used to walk about on this earth amongst men, it once happened that he was tired and overtaken by the darkness before he could reach an inn. Now there stood on the road before him two houses facing each other; the one large and beautiful, the other small and poor. The large one belonged to a rich man, and the small one to a poor man. Then the Lord thought, "I shall be no burden to the richman, I will stay the night with him." When the rich man heard some one knocking at his door, he opened the window and asked the stranger what he wanted. The Lord answered, "I only ask for a night's lodging."Then the rich man looked at the traveler from head to foot, and as the Lord was wearing common clothes, and did not look like one who had much money in his pocket, he shook his head, and said, "No, I cannot take you in, my rooms are full of herbs and seeds; and if I were to lodgeeveryone who knocked at my door, I might very soon go begging myself. Go somewhere else for a lodging," and with this he shut down the window and left the Lord standing there. So the Lord turned his back on the rich man, and went across to the small house and knocked. He had hardly done so when the poor man opened the little door and bade the traveler come in. "Pass the night with me, it is already dark," said he; "you cannot go any further to-night." This pleased the Lord, and he went in. The poor man's wife shook hands with him, and welcomed him, and said he was to make himself at home and put up with what they had got; they had not much to offer him, but what they had they would give him with all their hearts. Then she put thepotatoes on the fire, and while they were boiling, she milked the goat, that they might have a little milk with them. When the cloth was laid, the Lord sat down with the man and his wife, and he enjoyed their coarse food, for there were happy faces at the table. When they had had supper and it was bed-time, the womancalled her husband apart and said, "Hark you, dear husband, let us make up a bed of straw for ourselves to-night, and then the poor traveler can sleep in our bed and have a good rest, for he has been walking the whole day through, and that makes one weary." - "With all my heart," he answered, "I will go and offer it to him;" and he went to the stranger and invited him, if he had no objection, to sleep in their bed and rest his limbs properly. But the Lord was unwilling to take their bed from the two old folks; however, they would not be satisfied, until at length he did it and lay down in their bed, while they themselves lay on some straw on the ground.Next morning they got up before daybreak, and made as good a breakfast as they could for the guest. When the sun shone in through the little window, and the Lord had got up, he again ate with them, and then prepared to set out on his journey. But as he was standing at the door he turned round and said, "As you are so kind and good, you may wish three things for yourselves and I will grant them." Then the mansaid, "What else should I wish for but eternal happiness, and that we two, as long as we live, may be healthy and haveevery day our daily bread; for the third wish, I do not know what to have." And the Lord said to him, "Will you wish for a new house instead of this old one?" - "Oh, yes," said the man; "if I can have that, too, I should like it very much." And the Lord fulfilled his wish, and changed their old house into a new one, again gave them his blessing, and went on.The sun was high when the rich man got up and leaned out of his window and saw, on the opposite side of the way, a new clean-looking house with red tiles and bright windows where the old hut used to be. He was very much astonished, and called his wife and said to her, "Tell me, what can have happened? Last night there was a miserable little hut standing there, and to-day there is a beautiful new house. Run over and see how that has come to pass."So his wife went and asked the poor man, and he said to her, "Yesterday evening a traveler came here and asked for a night's lodging, and this morning when he took leave of us he granted us three wishes -- eternal happiness, health during this life and our daily bread as well, and besides this, a beautiful new house instead of our old hut."When the rich man's wife heard this, she ran back in haste and told her husband how it had happened. The man said, "I could tear myself to pieces! If I had but known that! That traveler came to our house too, and wanted to sleep here, and I sent him away." - "Quick!" said his wife, "get on your horse. You can still catch the man up, and then you must ask to have three wishes granted to you."The rich man followed the good counsel and galloped away on his horse, and soon came up with the Lord. He spoke to him softly and pleasantly, and begged him not to take it amiss that he had not let him in directly; he was looking for the front-door key, and in the meantime the stranger had gone away, if he returned the same way he must come and stay with him. "Yes," said the Lord; "if I evercome back again, I will do so." Then the rich man asked if might not wish for three things too, as his neighbor had done? "Yes," said the Lord, he might, but it wouldnot be to his advantage, and he had better not wish for anything; but the rich man thought that he could easily ask for something which would add to his happiness, if he only knew that it would be granted. So the Lord said to him, "Ride home, then, and three wishes which you shall form, shall be fulfilled."。
穷与富英文作文开头怎么写英文:Growing up in a small town, I have witnessed the stark contrast between the rich and the poor. On one hand, there are families living in luxurious mansions, driving fancy cars, and going on lavish vacations. On the other hand, there are families struggling to make ends meet, living paycheck to paycheck, and barely affording basic necessities. This disparity has made me ponder the concept of wealth and poverty. In my opinion, being poor means constantly worrying about money. It means having to prioritize between paying bills and putting food on the table. It means not being able to afford healthcare or education. I have seenfamilies in my community working multiple jobs just to make ends meet, and yet they still struggle to provide for their children. It's a constant uphill battle, and it takes atoll on their physical and mental well-being.On the other hand, being rich means having financial security and freedom. It means being able to afford a comfortable lifestyle, pursue higher education, and access top-notch healthcare. It means having the resources to invest, travel, and indulge in leisure activities. I have seen wealthy individuals in my town living carefree lives, not having to worry about the next paycheck or financial crisis.中文:在一个小镇长大,我见证了穷人和富人之间的鲜明对比。
英语沙龙富人与穷人The rich man and the poor manThere once was a very rich man. He was so rich, he could have owned many cars, but instead he chose to drive a Ford. He could have owned many computers, but instead he chose an Apple. He could have owned many homes, but instead he chose to live in East LA. Because this man was rich, many people in his neighborhood knew him. And also because the man was rich, many people from outside of his neighborhood knew him too. Often, his doorbell would ring, and there on his threshold would stand someone who had come to ask for a donation1). Sometimes when the bell rang, it was a neighbor who had fallen into misfortune. The man would smile, embrace his neighbor, and place a generous sum into their hand. Sometimes when the bell rang, it was a charity2) representing the starving children of Africa. The man would again smile, embrace the charity worker, and write a generous check. One evening, when his doorbell was particularly quiet, this man decided to take a stroll. He headed off, idling along wherever the road wound. Every once in a while, a car passed, thumping out thelatest rage in rap hit, and he soon found himself whistling one of these catchy3) tunes to himself. Lost in the tune, he came suddenly upon a homeless bum lying in the midst of the side-walk. The bum wore a tattered sweater and ripped pants. He had shoes, but they didn’t even match. And oh. The smell. I can’t even describe that to you here because it would ruin your Thanksgiving dinner. Well, this unfortunate soul lying on the street saw the man and knew him. Certainly, the bum said to himself. This is the rich man who lives on the lane. Surely he can help me, for he has money at his disposal. But instead of reaching out his hand, the bum was overcome by a sudden bout of shame and hid his face. The man stood over this tattered figure. He reached down and touched the bum’s cheek, but the bum shrank away from him even further. The man’s eyes clouded slightly and he cracked a weak smile. Forgetting the tune he once whistled, the man slowly turned and walked back to his home.Upon hearing the man retreat beyond the corner, the bum opened his eyes and sat up. There at his feet lay a crisp4) $100.00 dollarbill. The bum grabbed the money and made a beeline for the nearest7/11. Like all bums, this one’s first thought was to go blow the money on vodka5). What a bum. But, before he entered the store, he remembered the compassion of the man’s touch. This inspired him, and the bum decided then and there to turn his life around. The bum promptly bummed two dimes off an old lady. “Well. ”the lady replied. “You ain’t gonna spend this on alcohol?”The bum shook his head and stuck the money into the slot6) of the nearest telephone. His broker answered and the bum said, “Hundred dollars. Invest it all in that company with the nameMicro soft.”Since this was, as it turns out, the late-1980s, it took only a short while before the stock skyrocketed, and the bum found himself very well off indeed.Back in East LA the years passed slowly. The generous man kept tolife much as usual――taking e vening strolls, whistling rap tunes, answering his door. One day in particular, his doorbell rang, and there stood a finely dressed gentleman in a three piece suit. Uh oh, the man thought. Donation. But before he could do anything, his guest spoke.“You’re the rich man, aren’t you?”his guest asked.“What can I do for you?”the man responded automatically, soaccustomed to being asked for things.“It is not what you can do for me, ”answered his guest. “But what you have already done. ”“What have I done for you?”the man asked in surprise.“You’ve given me a second chance at life. Why, with your generous gift, I was able to invest the money and pull myself out of my poverty. I no longer wallow7) in the grime and gutters8), but I walk along crowded sidewalks with my head held high. I have you to thank for that.” Suddenly, the man recognized his guest. It was the old bum who’d been lying in the street. The man replied, “What I gave you, you did not ask for. I gave it simply because I saw you there and loved you. I would have given it to anyone in your position.”“All the more reason to come and thank you, ”his guest said.“But I am rich, ”replied the man. “I have many gifts to give. I don’t expect anything in return. ”“Good, ”his guest said with a nod. “Because I don’t have anything to offer in return――whatever I have, you gave to me. All I wanted to do was come and thank you.”The man stared as his guest reached out and took him into an embrace. It was the same gesture the man had so often offered to those at his door, yet this was the first time someone had offered it back. Tears filled the man’s eyes as his guest, a lowly bum off the street, held him in the most satisfying embrace he had ever received.富人与穷人曾经有过这样一个非常富有的男人。

富豪与穷人的英语作文英文回答:The divide between the wealthy and the poor is a complex and multifaceted issue that has been the subject of much debate and research. There is no single answer to the question of why there is such a large gap between the richest and poorest members of society, but a number of factors have been identified as contributing to this inequality. One of the most significant factors is the concentration of wealth in the hands of a small number of individuals. According to a 2017 report by Oxfam, the richest 1% of the global population owns more than 50% of the world's wealth. This concentration of wealth has been exacerbated by a number of factors, including the globalization of the economy, the rise of technology, and the increasing use of financial instruments that allow the wealthy to accumulate wealth more easily.Another factor that has contributed to the wealth gapis the decline of the middle class. In many countries, the middle class has been shrinking in size, while the number of people living in poverty has been increasing. This trend is due to a number of factors, including the loss of manufacturing jobs to automation and outsourcing, the rise of the service economy, and the stagnant wages of many workers. The wealth gap has a number of negative consequencesfor society. It can lead to social unrest, political instability, and a decline in overall economic growth. It can also have a negative impact on the health and well-being of the poor. There are a number of things that can be done to address the wealth gap. One important step is to increase the minimum wage and provide tax breaks for low-income workers. Another is to invest in education and job training programs that can help people to move out of poverty. It is also important to strengthen social safety nets that canprovide a safety cushion for those who are struggling financially. The wealth gap is a complex and challenging issue, butit is one that can be addressed. By working together, wecan create a more just and equitable society for all.中文回答:富豪与穷人间存在的鸿沟是一个复杂且多方面的议题,该议题也是许多争论与研究的重点。
