Twenty centimeters from her face researchers have placed a white card with two black spots on it. She stares at it carefully. A researcher removes the card and replaces it by another, this time with the spots differently spaced. As the cards change from one to the other, her gaze(凝视)starts to lose its focus-until a third, with three black spots, is presented. Her gaze returns: she looks at it for twice as long as she did at the previous card. Can she tell that the number two is different from three, just 24 hours after coming into the world?Or do newborns simply prefer more to fewer? The same experiment, but with three spots shown before two, shows the same return of interest when the number of spots changes. Perhaps it is just the newness? When slightly older babies were shown cards with pictures of objects (a comb, a key, an orange, and so on),changing the number of objects had an effect separate from changing the objects themselves. Could it be the pattern that two things make, as opposed to three? No again. Babies paid more attention to squares moving randomly(随意地)on a screen when their number changed from two to three, or three to two. The effect even crosses between senses. Babies who were repeatedly shown two spots became more excited when they then heard three drumbeats than when they heard just two; likewise(同样地)when the researchers started with drumbeats and moved to spots.【4】The experiment described in Paragraph 1 is related to the baby's .A. sense of hearingB. sense of sightC. sense of touchD. sense of smell【5】Babies are sensitive to the change in .A. the size of cardsB. the colour of picturesC. the shape of patternsD. the number of objects【6】Why did the researchers test the babies with drumbeats?A. To reduce the difficulty of the experiment.B. To see how babies recognize sounds.C. To carry their experiment further.D. To keep the babies'interest.【7】Where does this text probably come from?A. Science fiction.B. Children's literature.C. An advertisement.D. A science report.C(2018浙江温州九校高一第二学期期中联考)Sure, it's good to get along with your teacher because it makes the time you spend in the classroom more pleasant. And yes, it's good to get along with your teacher because, in general, it's smart to learn how to understand the different types of people you'll meet throughout your life.“But really, there's one super-important reason why you should get along with your teacher. When you do, learning bursts right open, "says Evelyn Vuko, a longtime teacher who writes an education column(专栏)called“Teacher Says" for The Washington Post newspaper. In fact, kids who get along with their teachers not only learn more, but are more comfortable when asking questions and getting extra help. This makes it easier to understand new material and do their best on tests. When you have this kind of relationship with a teacher, he or she can be someone to turn to with problems, such as problems with learning or school life like bullying. As a kid in a primary or middle school, you're at a wonderful stage in your life. You're like a sponge(海绵),able to absorb lots of new and exciting information. On top of that, you're able to think about all this information in new ways. Your teacher knows that, and, in most cases, is very excited to be the person who's giving you all that material and helping you make it. Remember, teachers are people, too, and theyfeel great if you're open to what they're teaching you. That's why they wanted to be teachers! Some kids may be able to learn in any situation, whether they like the teacher or not. But most kids are sensitive to the way they get along with the teacher, and if things aren't going well, they won't learn as well and won't enjoy being in class.【8】In the passage, the author mainly talks about .A. how to make the time in the classroom more pleasantB. how much the students are expected of to get along with teachersC. the importance of a good relationship with teachersD. how to get along well with others【9】The underlined part “learning bursts right open”in the third paragraph probably means .A. there'll be no problems at all with learningB. there'll be more problems with learningC. you find an opening for learningD. learning becomes easier for you at once【10】Which of the following is NOT true according to the passage?A. Teachers are excited even if you wouldn't like to accept their teaching.B. Teachers sometimes have the same feelings as students do.C. Some students can still learn even if they don't like the teacher.D. A bad relationship with your teachers does more or less harm to your studies.

I wil/am goning to Beijing next sunday.
基本结构是:主语 +willbe/be going to be +doing如:I will be sleeping at 12:00p.m.
I will be studying in university at the age of 20.
一、将来进行时用来表示在将来的某一个时间正在进行的动作①下个星期的这时候 , 我们将在那个工厂劳动 .This time next week we shall be working in that factory.②明天下午三点 , 我们将正在开会 .We'll be having a meeting at three o'clock tomorrow afternoon.③你将什么时候见怀特先生 (语气较委婉客气 , 下属对上司 When will you be seeing Mr. White④今天晚上七点 , 学生们将正在看电视 .The students will be watching TV at seven this evening.
例如 :1This time next day they will be sitting in the cinema. 例 :Don't worry, you won't miss her. She will be wearing a red T-shirt and a white skirt at that time. 例 :This time tomorrow you ________ there doing some more exercises.A will sitB will be sittingC sitD shall sit答案是 B. 因为 this time tomorrow是个很具体的将来时间 . I'll be having a talk with her.I will be helping Mary tomorrow. When shall we be meeting again? 明天我要和汤姆见面 .I'll be seeing Tom tomorrow. 可以说 :1I am meeting him tomorrow. 我明天和他会面 .I'll be meeting him tomorrow/next year/some time/. 而 will+V. Tom will be cutting grass tomorrow. Tom will cut the grass tomorrow.
