我们上两节课中已经学到过be 动词的过去式，其实英语里所有的动词都会随着时态的变化而发生改变。

在一般过去时态中，动词就应该使用相应的过去式。

比如课文中telephone 的过去式就是telephoned;say 的动词是said 。

动词的过去式分为规则和不规则两种：规则动词的过去式只要在动词后面加上-ed ，比如answer - answered;如果动词本来就以e 结尾，则直接加d 。

比如phone - phoned 。

This is…是英美人打电话时表示“我是……”的句式，而不说I'm…。
