Teaching Objective and requirement
1.Analyze the new words and phrases. Help the Students understand the meanings

Industrial engineers determine the most effective ways to use the basic factors of production---people, machines, materials, information, and energy--- to make a product or to provide a service. Step1 Lead-in: Give a brief introductory remark on the title (5 minutes)
Step2 Warm-up Questions: students are divided into groups to discuss the questions on their books, and then the representative of each group will report what they have discussed (10 minutes)

Step3 In-class activities: students will be divided into groups of five to six.
