Unit 5 Let's eat!单元教材及学情分析1.单元教材分析(1) 本单元主要学习关于食物和饮料的单词和句型，教会学生如何用英语表达自己想要的食物以及为别人提供食物或请别人吃东西的常用表达，同时了解西方英语国家的饮食习惯。

通过歌唱、游戏、会话表演等激发学生探究和自主学习的兴趣，提高学生的英语会话能力。

本单元从日常生活饮食入手，谈论自己想要的食物，然后又讲了一些关于自己喜欢的饮料的句子。

而且本单元有关食物名称的单词也是学生所熟悉、随处可见的，用这些比较容易感知的事物来开启学生的思维，引导学生学习，能够激发学生学习的兴趣。

同时要注重单元之间的衔接，如：这一单元与第六单元(Happy birthday!)都是关于饮食的，联系是非常紧密的。

前面的单元也为这一单元的学习做了铺垫，可以说各个单元之间都是有联系的，因此我们学习的时候要贴近生活，并注意各个单元之间的联系。

(2) 本单元的教学内容是在学习核心句型：I'd like some juice, please.Can I have some water, please? You're welcome.的基础上，学习各种食物的名称，然后在设置的情景中让学生练习说出各种食物的名称，学以致用。
