Today I want to say something about PLA Day.August the first is the Army Day of the Chinese People 's Liberation Army . Every year , the whole country will celebrate the establishment of the army. In August 1, 1927, PLA was born in Nan Chang .At that time ,her name was the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. Now she is 85 years old. In nan chang ,now We can see a lot of monuments of PLA .those are my adream places。
During the War of Resistance Against Japan, the army of Communist Party of China have two names .that is the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army .Then in the War of liberation, the army change its name into PLA. That means it will let people live in a happy environment . In August 1st, Officers and soldiers of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) and the people across the country have held various activities in this day to celebrate Chinese Army Day , such as Basketball match , Football match ,Singing contest,and Speech Contest . Sports games can communicate with each other, enhance the friendship. Singing can improve morale and speech can make people know more about the troop.Although we are in times of peace, but there still have unsafe factors around us. And PLA will protect the motherland and the people forever. Thank you.。
