教材分析：
本单元的主要内容就是使用形容词描述一座城市，一处景物的特点。课文情景是由Amy 向Lingling介绍自己的家乡london的书，并逐一介绍他们的特点。在翻看过程中，Amy 向Lingling 介绍了又宽又长的泰晤士河，历史悠久的大本钟以及高大的伦敦眼。Amy 和Lingling一起开玩笑说伦敦眼真的很像一只圆圆的大眼睛。
学情分析：
三年级学生学习英语的热情很高，对景点的描述使用恰当的形容词，教师可以建立词汇图，表情动作，帮助学生理解、记忆总结描述景点特点的形容词。教学过程中教师还要培养学生学习的兴趣，鼓励他们学习的积极性，使学生齐头并进，乐学、爱学。
