when adv. “(疑问副词) 什么时候,何时〞,用来对时间进展提问。
When can I see you?我什么时候可以看见你?when conj.“在……的时候〞,引导时间状语从句。
When is your math class?你什么时候上数学课?birthday n. “生日〞,是由birth (出生)+day(天) 构成的复合词。
His birthday is June second.他的生日是6月2日。
birthday 构成的短语和句子:(1)birthday card 生日卡片Can you write a birthday card?你能写一张生日卡片吗?(2)birthday party 生日聚会Let's have a birthday party.我们举行一个生日聚会吧。
(3)birthday cake 生日蛋糕We want to buy a birthday cake for Lucy.我们想为露西买一个生日蛋糕。

A项“什么〞,用来对事物进展提问;B项“怎样〞,对方式或情况进展提问;C项“哪里〞,对地点进展提问;D项“什么时候,何时〞,对时间进展提问。
根据答语我们可以确定该句是对时间的提问。
应选D项。
答案D句意——他们什么时候打篮球?——在下午。
【例2】—Happy birthday!—______.A.Thank you B.The same to you C.Thank D.That's all right解析C项表达错误,排除;D项“没关系,不客气〞,不符合句意,排除;B项“你也一样〞,不符合实际情况,排除;当别人祝你生日快乐时,你要表示谢意。

是...年...月...日.when疑问副词,引导提殊疑问句,其结构为“when+一般疑问句?”when可以对年、月、日以及时刻进行提问或者询问某一动作发生的时间。
Eg:When is your birthday?My birthday is on May 2nd./It is on May 2ndwhat time翻译为“几点”问的是具体的时间,一般回答要具体到小时。
Eg:--What time do you go to school?--I go to school at half past seven o’clock.回答具体到点钟,且注意在几点前边的介词用at。
2.—how old +be+主语?...多大年纪/几岁了?How old 意为“多大年纪;几岁”,用来询问年龄。

Month的复数是months。

Unit 1 When is your birthday?复习教案(一)教材分析本节课的教学内容是六年级下册第1单元复习课,围绕日期表达法这一话题展开听说读写的训练,引导学生有选择、有目的地去复习重点词汇、句型和语法,从而圆满完成复习任务。
(二)学情分析初一的学生大部分在12-14岁之间,对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣,加之课本内容和我们的日常生活息息相关,因此学生更能够积极地把所学知识运用于实践。
本节课以树立学生的自信心和调动学生的积极性为出发点,以提高学生语言综合能力运用为归宿,使学生以愉快的心境去完成复习内容。
(三)教学目标:1.知识与技能①正确表达日期,掌握12个月份的单词及缩写形式;序数词的表达法;②掌握并应用以下句型:When is your birthday? It’s …When is John’s birthday? It’s…How old are you? I’m twelve…How old is he? He is...What’s the date? It’s…2.过程与方法学习日期的询问和表达;学会谈论自己的同学及家人的生日;能把学到的知识和真实生活结合,实现学习过程生活化。

一、教材分析
整个单元以谈论"生日"为主线,本节课将12个月份的名称、序数词的学习融入到一系列的小任务中,教学设计以循序渐进的教学方法,在已有的基础上拓展和延伸,兼顾了各种能力的培养,如:When is the English party? 同时从听说训练转向读写能力的培养上过渡。
由于话题贴近学生的生活,容易激发学生的学习兴趣,使学生乐于参与到教学中来。
二、学情分析
本节课的主题是询问和谈论日期,围绕这一主题进行一系列的交际活动,使学生掌握日期的表达法,正确使用 when 引导的特殊疑问句对日期进行询问。
在学习日期的表达法时要先学习序数词的构成,学生在以前的课程里已经学习了基数词,对于两种数词之间的区别一定会令学生感到头痛,教师要引导学生运用对比的方法,找出构成规律,总结特殊变化,对比强化记忆。

Step 1 Play a game Face to Face
Let the students spell some words about the month and some phrases about the date. {设计意图}利用同桌面对面的方式,温习旧识,更有效的检查大部分学生掌握情况。
Step 2 Show your language
Make some sentences with the pictures.
{设计意图}承接上一步内容,进一步检测学生日期以及一些动词短语的掌握情况,为接下来的快速阅读扫清障碍。
Step 3 Scanning. Read the Passage 2a and answer some questions.
What activity do we have on March 21st? Do we have a soccer ball game on April 12th ? When is the School Day? When do we have an art festival? What do we have on May 30th ?
