考虑到是本单元的第一课时,所以在课堂上应采取各种教学方法使学生爱说、想说、敢说,培养学生的口语交际能力和自主学习的能力。
2、教材分析:《牛津小学英语》这套教材是按照“话题-功能-结构-任务”体系编写。

对动词和副词搭配的词组的了解,还存在相当大的不足。

通过本课的学习,学生将学会一些与现代生活密切相关且学生很感兴趣的知识,如上网surf the Internet,写电子邮件write an e-mail等,通过本课的学习,学生可以了解更多关于新朋友Tom的信息。

而且本课的上课环境为多媒体网络教室,这为学生创设了一个与课文中情景相同的场景,让学生在真实情景中学英语、用英语,提高了课堂学习效率。
三、说教学过程(一) 唱一首英语歌来舒缓学生面对听课老师的紧张感,并引出下面的Do you…句型,从而为引出下面的新知做铺垫。
然后告诉学生本节课的主要话题,即一位新朋友,然后将学习主动权转交给学生,让他们对这位新朋友所感兴趣对内容提问,如:(1)What’s her name?(2) Where does she live? (teach: town )(3) What place is her favorite place? (teach: London)(4) What does she usually do on Sundays?(teach: usually –What does he/she usually do…? 并板书) 教师则有选择地将学生的问题输入课件,这样便通过学生之口巧妙创设出一个任务,最后让学生通过本课的学习自己解决这一生成性教学任务,实现由话题到语篇的逐层递进,体现了《标准》提倡的“任务型”教学理念。
新授句型“What does he/she usually do on Sundays?”及其回答在与学生用句型“Whatdo you usually do on Sundays”的交谈中,通过问讯另一学生的周末情况,从而引出新句型What does he/she usually do on Sundays? 学生在回答时肯定有些困难,这时教师可引导学生说“Sorry, I don’t know. Let me ask him/her.”,学生问讯后回答“He/She usually …”时教师要重点引导学生使用动词的第三人称单数形式,最后以如下对话操练巩固:A: What do you usually do on Sundays?B: I usually …A: What does *** usually do on Sundays?B: Sorry, I don’t know. Let me ask him/her. Excuse me, ***.C: Yes?B: What do you usually do on Sundays?C: I usually …A: He usually …(二) 借助教学媒体,新授重点词组(上网,写电子邮件)(5) Does she have any hobbies? (teach: surf the Internet 并板书)由学生问题自然过渡到新词组surf the Internet新朋友的爱好是学生比较感兴趣的内容之一,教师抓住这一学生已掌握的知识点与学生对话,T: Do you have any hobbies?S1: Yes, I do. I like watching TV.T: I see. Then do you know my hobbies?Ss: You like playing table tennis.T: Yes, but now I have a new hobby. Do you want to have a look?Ss: Yes.此时教师通过大屏幕投影向学生展示自己上网浏览新闻的过程,以现场真实展示的方式向学生新授词组surf the Internet,便于学生理解新知识的意思。
教学时采用“听说领先,认读跟上”的原则,让学生先看音标/ s :f/ the /Int net /跟老师说几遍,再让学生通过认读音标拼写出单词,这样既锻炼了学生音标的认读能力,又加深了学生对新知识的记忆。

在新授词组write an e-mail时,教师关闭投影仪,自己则在电脑前做出上网的动作,然后问学生:What am I doing? 学生自然会回答:You’re surfing the Internet,当老师否定后,他们又会问“Are you playing computer games?”当老师再次否定他们的答案时一个悬念产生了,学生的求知欲被充分激起,这是老师公布出正确答案“I’m writing an e-mail.”,并不失时机地打开投影仪,再次以现场操作的方式向学生解释了write an e-mail的意思,同时让学生根据音标/ i:meIl/拼写出单词。
(三)课文教学1. 初步感知课文(1) T: I think all of us have friends. Wang Bing has a friend, too. Who is he? Let’swatch the flash then answer the questions:Q: Who is Wang Bing’s friend?Is Wang Bing’s friend Chinese?(2) Ss answer the questions.(由于这是通过动画片来初步感知课文,音形并茂,形象而生动,所以我预设了两个显而易见的问题,了解学生初步感知下来的收获。
)2. 分段听课文引言部分:(1) T: What is Wang Bing doing now? Let’s look at the picture, listen then answerthe questions:Q: Where are they?What is Wang Bing doing now?What does Gao Shan want to do?(2) Ask some students to answer these questions.(引言是通过观察图以及听录音来回答三个问题,让学生了解本单元对话的背景,以便更好得让学生理解和掌握对话的内容。
)对话部分:(1) T: Now, let’s listen to the whole text again then do the judge exercise.(2) Check the answers and if it is false say out the reasons.(通过听录音来理解对话,完成判断练习,并要求学生能把错误的题目说出错的原因,使得学生对本单元对话内容深入了解透彻。
