中秋节有许多别称：因节期在八月十五，所以称“八 月节”、“八月半”；因中秋节的主要活动都是围绕 “月”进行的，所以又俗称“月节”“月夕”；中秋 节月亮圆满，象征团圆，因而又叫“团圆节”。在唐 朝，中秋节还被称为“端正月”。

In
the Mid-Autumn Festival for a week, the school arranged our class production of moon cakes, of course, the first contact we are very active, very seriously, in a week time, we successfully completed the mission, although only a short span of a week, but we learn a lot from, for example, serious, responsible, sincere, of course more of a blessing.
According to Chinese mythology, the earth once had 10 suns circling over it. One day, all 10 suns appeared together, scorching the earth with their heat. The earth was saved when a strong archer, Hou Yi, succeeded in shooting down 9 of the suns. Yi stole the elixir of life to save the people from his tyrannical rule, but his wife, Chang-E drank it. Thus started the legend of the lady in the moon to whom young Chinese girls would pray at the MidAutumn Festival.
