Even though I'm still just a kid, I've already explored many amazing places in my hometown. Today, I want to share some of my favorite spots in Zhuhai with you!First up is Zhuhai Opera House. This huge modern building looks like a giant yacht sailing on land. Its unique design with curved glass walls is really eye-catching. But the best part is going inside to watch performances! I've seen wonderful acrobatic shows, dance recitals, and music concerts here. The acoustics are incredible. Whenever I attend an event at the Opera House, I'm just in awe of the talented artists on stage.Another must-visit in Zhuhai is Fisher Girl Beach. This long stretch of golden sand along the coastline is one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. I have so many happy memories of building sandcastles, playing frisbee, andswimming in the clear blue water with my family here. The beach has lots of fun activities like beach volleyball, banana boat rides, and yummy seafood restaurants right on the shore. My favorite part though is just relaxing on my towel, reading books and enjoying the warm sunshine and fresh sea breeze. If you love flowers and gardens as much as I do, you'll definitely want to go to Yuanhua Hill. This sprawling park on a hill has an incredible variety of colorful blossoms and lush green areas. There are landscaped gardens with arched bridges over ponds full of koi fish. Winding paths lead you to peaceful pavilions where you can sit and admire the natural scenery. One of the highlights is the Azalea Exhibition held yearly when thousands of bright azalea flowers are in full bloom. Yuanhua Hill is such a serene escape from the busy city. For all my dinosaur-loving friends out there, the Zhuhai Ancient Creatures Museum is a can't-miss! This museum has an amazing collection of fossilized dinosaur eggs, skeletons, footprints and more. Some of the exhibits even have moving, roaring animatronic dinosaurs that make you feel like you've traveled back in time. My favorite display is the enormous T-Rex skull – its teeth are bigger than my whole hand! I could spendhours reading all the informative signs and learning about the prehistoric creatures that once roamed our planet.Last but not least, I have to mention Zhuhai Jinding Overseas Chinese Town Theme Park. This huge park has so much packed into it – cultural exhibits on the houses and customs of overseas Chinese communities, amazing performance shows, carnival games and most importantly, epic rollercoasters and thrill rides! The Drunk'n Spin ride makes you feel like you're stumbling around after one too many drinks. The Immense Journey dark ride takes you soaring over scenic Zhuhai landscapes. Even though Zhuhai isn't as big and famous as those places, it has tons of amazing spots that I love visiting with my family and friends. Let me tell you about some of my top picks!First up is Zhuhai Opera House, which just looks crazy cool from the outside. The unique design makes it seem like two huge rocks rising from the ground, with a sphere in the middle for the actual theater. I went there once to see a play and the interior is just as stunning, with beautiful wood everywhere and an awesome view overlooking the ocean. The acoustics were incredible too. Even if you don't catch a show, it's worth going just to check out this architectural masterpiece up close.Another place I absolutely adore is the Zhuhai Lovers' Road. It's this long, winding path that goes up and down little hills with the sea on one side. There are lovers' locks attached to the railings along the whole way that couples have put there tosymbolize their eternal love. My parents did one when they got married! There are pretty gardens and waterways to wander through too. I always feel like I'm transported to another world when I'm there! For a little more action, you've gotta hit up the Zhuhai Beach Resort & Spa. They have a kick-ass water park called Atlantis Aquaventure with some seriously extreme water slides. My buddies and I have contests to see who can handle the craziest ones without chickening out halfway through. The tsunami beach pool is wild too - you can actually surf the artificiallycreated waves! After wearing ourselves out, we love pigging out on the delicious fresh seafood at the restaurants in the resort. If you're an animal lover like me though, the top place to go is the Zhuhai Mirs Bay Nymphaea National Wetland Park. You can see tons of cool birds like egrets and herons, plus other critters like rabbits and snakes. Once I even spotted a dolphin swimming just offshore! The park has special underground viewing areas too where you can watch the aquatic life. I'm obsessed with learning about all the plants and creatures there. Those are some of my absolute must-see spots in Zhuhai, but I could honestly keep going on and on. This city is packed with fun stuff to explore, whether you're into nature, history, thrills or just chilling out. My name is Li Ming and I'm a 5th grade student in Zhuhai. I'm so excited to tell you all about my amazing hometown. Zhuhai is a beautiful coastal city in the very south of China, located in Guangdong Province right next to Macau. With its stunning beaches, lush parks, and fascinating history, Zhuhai is an awesome place to visit on vacation! Let me give you a tour.First up, the beaches here are just incredible. Zhuhai has some of the best beaches in all of southern China. The sand issoft and golden, and the water is the prettiest shade of turquoise blue. You can swim, build sandcastles, or just relax and soak up the warm sunshine. My favorite is Jingshan Beach with its palm trees and beach umbrellas. The sunset views from here are spectacular! If you get tired of the beach, you can hang out at one of Zhuhai's beautiful parks. Holiday Resort is a huge park right on the waterfront with tropical gardens, walking trails, and even an amusement park inside. You can rent pedal boats on the lake or watch cultural performances on the outdoor stages. Another awesome park is Xiangzhou Island, which is actually a whole island full of gardens, forests, and mountains to explore. It's like being in a rainforest wonderland!Zhuhai also has some cool historical sites to check out. The New Yuanmingyuan Park has replicas of the famous Old Summer Palace ruins from Beijing. You can wander through the ancient palace grounds and see miniature versions of iconic buildings like the Marble Boat. The Fisher Girl statue is another must-see - it's a huge sculpture right on the beach showing a beautiful fisher maiden. Pretty amazing! If you're a kid like me, you'll definitely want to visit Chimelong Ocean Kingdom and Chimelong Safari Park. OceanKingdom is an incredible aquarium and underwater theme park with exhibits of sharks, beluga whales, dolphins, and so many other amazing sea creatures. The rides and shows are super fun too! Then at Chimelong Safari Park, you can see all sorts of cool animals roaming around like giraffes, zebras, lions, and even pandas. It's like being on a real African safari. So awesome!Another awesome place for kids is the Zhuhai Opera House, which looks just like a massive sea monster or kraken rising out of the ocean! The architecture is mind-blowing. You can actually go inside and see performances, but it's just as cool to admire the unique design from outside.Speaking of designs, one of my favorite spots downtown is the Zhuhai Western Coastal New Area. This futuristic section of the city was designed by famous architects and is full ofavant-garde skyscrapers and public art installations. The structures look like they're from a sci-fi movie set in the year 3000! You can stroll along the seaside promenade and admire all the incredible modern architecture. So fun to explore. If you get hungry from all that sightseeing, don't worry - Zhuhai has incredibly delicious food! As a coastal city, we're famous for ultra-fresh local seafood. You've got to try the coconut-curried prawns, stir-fried squid, and steamed fish. Pair itwith some tasty Zhuhai beef noodles for a real local feast. All the food is so flavorful and savory. And for dessert, we have tropical fruits galore like lychees, mangosteens, and dragon fruit. It's all so mouth-wateringly good. That's just a small preview of all the amazing things to do in my hometown of Zhuhai. My name is Xiaoming and I'm a 5th grader at Zhuhai Experimental Primary School. Today I want to tell you all about my amazing hometown, Zhuhai. It's a really cool city in southern China, right next to the big cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen. But Zhuhai is extra special because it's surrounded by the ocean on three sides! One of my favorite things about Zhuhai is how pretty it is. The city is built along the coast, so no matter where you go, you can see the bright blue sea and feel the fresh ocean breeze. There are tons of beautiful beaches with soft golden sand and swaying palm trees. My family loves going to Gongbei Beach to spend the day swimming, building sandcastles, and eating delicious seafood.Another awesome thing about Zhuhai is all the islands just off the coast. There are over 200 islands that belong to Zhuhai, and you can take fun boat trips to visit them. I've been to Wanshan Islands and Jiuzhou Islands before. They have the clearest turquoise water for snorkeling and seeing tropical fish. There are also lots of hiking trails through lush forests. Once, I even saw a friendly monkey! If you like the outdoors, Zhuhai has many cool parks and nature areas to explore. There's Huafa Park, one of the biggest city parks in China, with flower gardens, lakes, and forest trails. My class went on a field trip there and we had a picnic lunch under the shady trees. Right next to the park is Huafa Buddhist Scenic Area, with ancient temples set among massive banyan trees and rocky hills. It's very peaceful and the perfect place to take pretty pictures. But Zhuhai isn't all nature - it's also got a really happening downtown area! Pedestrian shopping streets are lined with boutiques, snack stalls selling yummy street food, and plazas with cool light shows at night. My parents sometimes take me to Gongbei Port Plaza, which has an indoor beach and carnival rides. The ferris wheel gives you an incredible view of the whole city skyline!Speaking of the city skyline, Zhuhai is famous for having some mind-blowing modern architecture. The Zhuhai Opera House looks like a gigantic rock rising from the sea, with a shiny blue glass exterior. And the unique Fisher Girl sculpture is a must-see - it's a 24-meter tall statue of a young fisher girl releasing seagulls into the sky. Both landmarks make Zhuhai feel futuristic and artistic. But the number one coolest thing about Zhuhai has to be its connection to the former Portuguese colony of Macau. Back in the old days, people could only travel between the two cities by boat. Nowadays, the world's longest sea-crossing bridge directly links Zhuhai to Macau and Hong Kong. Driving over the bridge is like being on top of the ocean, with incredible views in every direction. And at night, the entire bridge is lit up, looking like a dazzling diamond necklace from above.Once you reach Macau, it's like stepping into another world. The narrow streets are lined with colorful Portuguese buildings, lively squares, and churches with beautiful architecture. You can sample egg tarts, jerky, and other yummy Portuguese treats. Macau is also famous for its lavish casinos and glitzy shows. I loved watching the spectacular House of Dancing Water show - it blew my mind! From Macau, it's easy to continue on to Hong Kong for even more big city adventures. As you can probably tell by now, I absolutely adore my hometown of Zhuhai. It's got everything - beautiful natural scenery, exciting metropolitan areas, tasty cuisine, awesome architecture and more. Whether you're looking to relax on a beach, hike through pristine forests, shop until you drop, or experience the vibrant culture, Zhuhai has it all. It's the perfect place to vacation for travelers of any age.So what are you waiting for? Come visit my slice of paradise in southern China! I'll be happy to show you all the best spots and hidden gems. Getting to experience Zhuhai's diverse charms through the eyes of a local kid will make your trip even more unforgettable. See you soon in my hometown!篇4My Amazing Trip to ZhuhaiLast summer, my family and I went on a really fun vacation to Zhuhai, a beautiful seaside city in Guangdong Province, China. I was so excited because I had never been to Zhuhai before! We stayed there for one whole week and did all sorts of awesome activities. I'm going to tell you all about our amazing trip.First, we stayed at this huge hotel right on the beach. It had a gigantic pool that looked like a lake! The pool was so much fun to swim in. It had a cool waterslide and everything. Our hotel room had a balcony with a pretty view of the beach and ocean. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night. One of the first things we did was visit Zhuhai Opera House. It's this modern building that kind of looks like a giant yacht made of glass and steel. Inside they have performances like singing, dancing, and plays. We saw an amazing acrobat show with tumblers and circus acts. The actors could do crazy flips and tricks! I had never seen anything like it. The opera house is right on the water too, so we got great views of the ocean.Another day, we took a ferry across the Pearl River Estuary to Hong Kong. It was about an hour-long boat ride, which was really neat. I had never been on a ferry that big before! Once in Hong Kong, we went to Victoria Peak, the highest point on HongKong Island. We took an outdoor escalator system called the Mid-Levels all the way up the mountain. At the top, we could see the entire city skyline and harbor. The skyscrapers looked so tiny from up there! We also visited the Avenue of Stars which had handprints of famous movie stars, kind of like the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. My favorite day was when we went to Zhuhai Fisher Girl statue. It's this huge bronze statue right on the beach of four fisher girls pulling on ropes. The statue is 8 stories tall! We could actually walk underneath the girls' dresses. Our tour guide taught us that the statue represents the fishing traditions of Zhuhai. Getting up close to such an enormous statue was just mind-blowing. We also walked along the sandy beach and stuck our toes in the South China Sea. The water was nice and warm.Another cool place we went was Jingshan Park, an old Buddhist temple area with lots of pretty gardens and ponds. They had amazing landscaped grounds filled with colorful flowers, rock gardens, winding trails, and pavilions. We even attended a traditional Chinese tea ceremony and learned all about the different types of tea. I loved trying the special tea flavors and snacks. Walking through the peaceful gardens with the little bridges and ponds put me in such a relaxing mood.We also did some fun shopping at the Gongbei Underground Shopping Streets. It was this massive underground mall with what felt like hundreds of little stores and vendors. You could find anything there – clothes, toys, snacks, souvenirs, you name it! The stores were run by friendly locals selling all kinds of interesting goods. We bought some pretty jade jewelry and tasty candies. I'll never forget walking through those lively underground streets packed with so many shops and people.Zhuhai was without a doubt the most amazing place I've ever been. I loved the stunning ocean scenery, the rich history and culture, and all the awesome attractions we experienced. From the giant Fisher Girl statue to the delectable seafood dishes to the lush gardens, there was something exciting around every corner. I gave my trip a perfect 10 out of 10! I already can't wait to go back to Zhuhai again someday. Maybe next time we can visit their new Hello Kitty Theme Park – that would be a dream come true for me! I'll never forget the wonderful memories I made on this trip with my family.篇5My Hometown: Zhuhai, the Charming Coastal CityHi everyone! It's a beautiful seaside city in Guangdong Province, southern China. Get ready to be amazed as I take you on a tour of Zhuhai's top sights and experiences!First off, let me share what makes Zhuhai so unique – its location. Zhuhai lies at the mouth of the Pearl River, facing the South China Sea. It's just a stone's throw away from Macao and even closer to Hong Kong. In fact, you can actually see the Hong Kong skyline from certain areas in Zhuhai on a clear day! How cool is that? One of my favorite places in Zhuhai is the Gongbei Port Coastal Tourist Area. It has this long winding boardwalk right by the sea where you can go for leisurely strolls and enjoy the amazing ocean views. The sea breeze feels so refreshing! They also have tons of fun activities like fishing, beach sports, and even riding little motorized boats if you're feeling adventurous.Another must-visit spot is Lovers' Road. It got its name because it's absolutely romantic to take a walk down this rural path, surrounded by lush greenery, little streams, and charming bridges. My parents love going there to relax and I enjoyexploring and playing in nature. Top tip - bring mosquito repellent though! For all my fellow adventurers, there's an incredible place called Xiangzhou Safari Park where you can see lots of cool animals like elephants, lions, and giraffes roaming freely. Heart-pounding but epic!Talking about wildlife, Zhuhai is also known for its golden beaches and crystal clear waters which are home to diverse marine life. On school trips, we often go to coastal parks like Wai Lingding Island to learn about protecting the environment and animals like cute little penguins, seals, and more. It's educational but really fun too.If you enjoy being on the water, there are lots of opportunities for that in Zhuhai. You can go on relaxing boat cruises across the calm waters, try out kayaking or even jet-skiing for an adrenaline rush! My personal favorite is taking a short ferry ride to one of the many little islands off Zhuhai's coast for a mini beach getaway. For all my foodie friends, Zhuhai won't disappoint. We're famous for our fresh, mouth-watering seafood like succulent shrimps, crabs, and fish that get plucked straight from the sea. My top recommendation is to try "dahu" which are cute little mini-crabs that are deep-fried to crispy perfection - so yummy! You can find amazing seafood at restaurants along the coast or even at little street food stalls.Apart from seafood, Zhuhai also has its own delicious local snacks like sweet potato isles, ginger milk pudding, and more. My absolute favorite is this warm, gooey pineapple bun stuffed with a sweet pineapple filling. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water!Let's not forget about Zhuhai's cool historic and cultural sites too. The New Yuan Ming Palace is a must-see - it's a huge complex filled with ancient Chinese-style gardens, pavilions, libraries, and even a small museum displaying relics from the Ming and Qing dynasties. It feels like being transported back in time and it's stunning to see the traditional architecture. There are also significant places of worship like the towering Zhuhai Fisher Girl Statue which is a monument honoring the ethnic minorities and their customs. The intricately carved andpainted Zhuhai Museum is very impressive too with exhibitions on local history and culture. In the evenings, the Lovers' Avenue area comes alive with brilliant lights, merry crowds, street performances, markets, and a lively vibe. You can do everything from eating yummy street food to shopping for quirky souvenirs and knick-knacks there. On special occasions like Chinese New Year, vibrant events and exhibitions are held around the city. One of the highlights is the incredible New Year Lantern Fairs where you can see gigantic, brilliantly lit-up lanterns in all shapes and forms. So magical! As you can probably tell by now, Zhuhai has something for everyone - pristine beaches, water adventures, wildlife encounters, historic wonders, delicious cuisine, and exciting cultural experiences! It's very close to Macau and even borders the special administrative region. You can actually see the Macau skyline from certain spots in Zhuhai! The city has a really long history going back over 2000 years, but it has grown into a modern, international place in recent decades. One of the first things I noticed about Zhuhai was how green and pretty it is. There are lush parks and gardens all over the city. My favorite was the Yuanhua Botanical Garden with its lily ponds, bamboo forest, and beautiful flowers everywhere. We also went to Xiangzhou Wildlife Zoo where we saw pandas, elephants, lions and so many cool animals!Since Zhuhai is right on the coast, the beaches there are incredible. We spent a whole day at Jingshan Park Beach buildingsandcastles and playing in the waves. The sand was so soft and the water was nice and warm - perfect for swimming! Another fun beach we visited was Dongao Island Beach. We took a little boat from the mainland over to this pretty island with its long stretches of sandy white beaches. I loved hunting for seashells and splashing in the shallow, clear blue water. But my absolute favorite place in Zhuhai was the Fisher Girl statue! This huge, iconic statue of a young fisher girl with her hair blowing in the wind stands out in the harbor. At night, it's all lit up in changing colored lights. We visited at sunset and I'll never forget how pretty it looked with the colorful sky and lights reflecting on the water. The statue is a big symbol of Zhuhai. Our hotel was right in the city center, so we could easily walk around and explore. The architecture downtown is a cool mix of modern skyscrapers and buildings inspired by different cultures like Portuguese, Southeast Asian and Islamic styles. One morning, we wandered through the Lover's Road area which had lots of cute shops and cafes. I had the most delicious mango smoothie!Another day, we took a boat tour along the Xiangzhou Bay. We cruised under bridges, past little islands and got amazing views of the city skyline. The tour guide told us about Zhuhai'slong history of fishing villages and showed us an old-fashioned fishing boat up close. He even let us try throwing out a little net!One evening, we went to the Jida Night Market which was sooo much fun. And the variety of skewers, fried snacks and drinks was amazing! I'll never forget that lively, exciting atmosphere. On our last day, we visited the Western Street area which felt like stepping back in time. The narrow, winding streets are lined with traditional buildings and shops selling things like handmade shoes, artwork and antiques. We watched a cultural performance with colorful costumes, lion dances and amazing acrobats. It was such a great way to experience the mix of cultures in Zhuhai.I had the best time exploring all the different sides of Zhuhai - the beautiful parks and beaches, the cool downtown, fascinating history, and diverse mix of cultures. From relaxing on the sand to trying new foods to wandering through lively markets, every day was an adventure! Zhuhai is such a vibrant, warm and welcoming city.
