立足课本 培养学生的阅读能力

依托课本培养学生的阅读能力陈茂花赣榆县青口一中摘要：根据课程标准的要求，要合理利用课程资源，而英语教材是英语课程资源的核心部分，阅读是学习英语的最主要目标之一。

因此，我们要充分利用教材，培养学生的阅读能力。

本文就是笔者在日常教学中如何利用教材的阅读教学来提高学生的阅读能力的一点看法。

关键词：阅读能力课本阅读方法阅读教学阅读技巧英语阅读能力是发展其他语言技能的基础和前提，是衡量一个人外语水平的主要标志之一。

同时阅读是学习英语的最主要目标之一，也是使学生深入文化内容，从而带动语言学习的一条重要途径。

《全日制普通高级中学英语教学大纲（试验修订版）》在教学目的中规定要侧重提高学生的阅读能力。

就高考和平时考试来说，语言最难、内容最深的部分正是阅读理解，题量最大、分值最多的部分还是阅读理解，可见，阅读理解之重要。

但是怎样才能提高学生的阅读能力呢？笔者认为，首先要从课本入手，课本就是最好的素材。

课本是学生学好英语，打好基础的基本工具，是教师对学生传授知识，培养能力的重要工具。

而且在英语课程标准中就明确指出，合理利用课程资源是英语新课程实施的重要组成部分，而英语课程资源的核心部分就是英语教材。

所以，我们必须充分利用课本来提高学生的阅读能力。

尤其是课文阅读教学，高中英语课文教学是每个单元的核心，是培养学生阅读能力的主要渠道。

在英语阅读教学中，教师要向学生讲清阅读的好处，向他们说明阅读是帮助他们巩固已经学过的单词和语法的重要手段之一，也是学生摄取新知识，捕捉大量的文化信息，体验外语语言美的主要途径之一。

与此同时教师要教给学生阅读的方法，训练其阅读技巧，培养学生的收集处理信息的能力、获取新知识的能力、分析和解决问题的能力、语言文字表达能力，从而达到提高学生的阅读理解能力的目的。

笔者认为在日常教学中，重点是使学生养成良好的阅读习惯。

有些学生在阅读时会读出声音、手指着单词读、心里默读、频繁查字典、视幅小、易回视等不良习惯。

这些习惯导致了阅读速度慢，理解文章信息支离破碎，不能准确把握文章内容。

针对这种情况，首先我让学生养成默读的习惯，眼睛和大脑协同工作，同时在阅读时用笔圈出一些重要年代、人命、地名等，以便下面做题。

其次教给学生阅读方法和阅读技巧，根据问题或标题预测文章内容，辨别文章的主题句，能根据上下文去猜测词义，能利用常识和背景知识理解文章内容进而去理解文章的深层含义。

还通过训练让学生掌握跳读、略读、找读等阅读技巧。

随着学生阅读习惯的养成及初步阅读技巧的掌握，要加大阅读的输入量，让学生有意识的积累词汇，以提高阅读速度和增强理解力。

为此，我们要争取做到限时阅读，即要求学生在规定的时间内完成课文的阅读，完成课后的题目。

随后要对阅读情况进行小结，对学生在阅读中出现的问题加以解答，并对文章中的语言点、难句、长句加以点评，同时就文章中出现的一些文化习俗及相关背景知识给学生做必要的介绍。

但是高中英语课堂教学中的阅读活动多为对细节内容的捕捉、理解而设计，而对挖掘课文深层意义的阅读活动则很少，这是导致学生在解答这类题时错误率特别高的原因。

所以在课文教学中，为了训练学生的思维，培养学生的推理、判断能力，笔者经常根据学生对文章的深层理解，设计出针对性的问题。

例如：在高一模块四第二单元可以设计这样的题目：Why did the article mention Cassicus Clay?根据上文 Now people all over the world are helping to realize this dream, and among them are many well-known athletes . 可知答案Cassius clay is a person who is helping to realize this dream .What’s more ,he is a well-known athletes.同时，我们还可以适应高考的要求，把这一篇文章设计成任务型阅读，根据课文填词。

例如：Part A: Information about the ancient Olympics and the modern Olympic Games:Part B: The athletes mentioned in the text:为了使学生更好的理解课文，还可以把文章设计成阅读选择题。

例如在学过模块4第3单元的阅读之后，可以设计这样的题目：1. What is the main idea of the text.A. To advise us to see a VR film.B. To show us a proposal about RealCineC. To tell us something about a real film.D. To tell us something out the authors real dream.2. When seeing a VR film, the viewers will .A. be a real character of the filmB. climb Mount Qomolangma actuallyC. not see with their own eyesD. be surprised at how real the VR film feels3. The author things RealCine will help to develop the film-making industry学生的阅读理解能力还包括对文章的概括和总结，所以在平时的阅读教学中，可以让学生用自己的话复述课文，必要的时候可以给予提示。

例如在学完模块五第三单元的阅读后，设计出这样的练习：根据首字母提示填空：Scientists have successfully cloned the human embryo, w 1 has caused much debate. Some point out that cloning can be used to s 2 human lives, w 3 some disagree and fear that some day in the future cloning will cause many problems to us humans like moral problems.Cloning is producing an exact copy of a plant or an animal u 4 its. The first mammal to be cloned successfully from an adult cell was Dolly the sheep. The scientists who created Dolly was p 5 for their wonderful scientific breakthrough and they are now considering c 6 human beings. However, some people think that cloning human embryos with the intention of destroying them shows no respect for human life. Butit is good news for those who can’t have a baby. They can clone a baby genetically r 7 to them. In China, scientists have focused their efforts on cloning animals a 8 well as stem cells to be used in medical research. China has m 9 to produce clones of cows and goats and continues to research ways that cloning can b 10 mankind当然，仅仅抓好课文教学，对学生的阅读理解能力的提高还是远远不够的，必须让学生把课堂上学到的技巧、能力运用到实践中，在一次模拟考试中，学生就遇到这样的一道词义猜测题：“My teenager son Karl became withdrawn after his fath er died.”题目要求猜withdrawn的意思。

根据平时教给学生的猜词方法，根据上下文寻求答案，所以根据下文“As a single parent ,I tried to do my best to talk to him” 就可以猜出It means“refused to talk to others”。

总之，课本是基础，是我们提高学生的阅读理解能力的源泉。
