Ask Ss what they know about organic farming. Collect their ideas on the blackboard.

Ask Ss to skim the passage and find the main idea of this passage and each paragraph.

概念:在复合句中充当主语的句子, 叫做______________。
句子结构:“主语从句(引导词+主语+谓语..)+谓语动词+句子其它...”

主语从句引导词
1)that
引导主语从句,本身无词义,在从句中不作成分,但不可省略。

汤姆通过了考试,这让他父母很高兴。
2)whether: 引导主语从句,意为“_______________是否”,在从句中不作成分,不可省略,位于句首时不能用if。
