形容词、副词比较级和最高级的用法

形容词和副词的比较级、最高级的构成方式有两种：规则变化和不规则变化。

形容词、副词比较级、最高级规则变化如下：

构成方法 原级 比较级 最高级

一般在词尾加-er,-est. great伟大的

hard 努力地 greater更伟大的

harder更努力地 greatest最伟大的

hardest最努力地

以字母e结尾的只加-r，-st nice好的

late晚地 nicer更好的

以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节，双写这一辅音字母后再加-er,-est big 大的

hot热切的 bigger更大的

hotter更热切的 biggest最大的

hottest最热切的

以“福音字母+y”结尾的词，将y变为i再加-er,-est happy高兴的

early早期的 eappier更高兴的

earlier更早地 happiest最高兴的

earliest最早的

其他双音节词和多音节词，在词前加more 或most difficult困难的

形容词、副词比较级、最高级不规则变化如下：

bad 坏的/Ill 不健康的

badly 严重地 worse 更坏的；更严重地 worst 最坏的（地）

little很少的 less 更少的 least 最少的

much/many more更多的 most最多的

far(远的) farther距离更远的

furthest程度最深的

old 年老的 older(年龄)较老的

elder长辈的 oldest最老的

1. 形容词、副词比较级的用法

（1）两者之间的比较用“比较级+than”.有些比较级没有明显的比较对象，而是暗含在句子或段落中。如：

----Have you decided which you’d like to buy, the black one or the

pink one?

你决定买哪个了吗？黑色的还是粉色的？

----I think the pink one is nicer than the black one

我觉得粉色的要比黑色的好看

（2）两者比较也可以用“the+比较级+ of the two……”，表示“两者中较……的那一个”。

It is the bigger of the two apples. 这是这两个苹果里较大的一个

（3）“比较级+and+比较级”或“more and more +原级”表示“越来越……”

Our country is getting stronger and stronger. 我们的国家变得越来越强大。

She plays the piano more and more beautifully. 她的钢琴弹得越来越好。

（4）“the +比较级……，the +比较级……”表示“越……，就越……”

The harder you work, the better result you’ll get.

你学习越努力，你取得的成绩就会越好

（5）在比较级前一般可用much, a little, a lot, even, still, far, a

bit 等来修饰说明程度，但不可用very, quite, rather 等修饰。（常出改错题）

She is a little shorter than Han Mei. 她比韩梅矮一点。

This book is a bit thicker than that one. 这本书比那本书厚一点

（6）比较级表示最高级的用法 (重点)

如：

1）I have never seen a better film.（同义句转换）我从来没看过比这更好的电影

=This is the best film I have ever seen. 这是我所看过的最好的电影

2） No one in our class is taller than he.（重点）

= He is taller than any other student in our class.

= He is taller than anybody else in our class.

= He is tall than all the other students in our class.

= He is the tallest in our class.

= He is the tallest in our class.

= He is the tallest of all the students in our class.

2. 形容词、副词最高级的用法

（1）the+形容词、副词最高级+名词+表示范围的短语或从句。其中副词的最高级中the 可省略

The green coat is the most expensive in the shop

这件绿色的外套在这家店里是最贵的。

（2）one of the +最高级，表示“最……之一”

Mr. Zhang is one of the most popular teachers in ours school.

张老师是我们学校最受欢迎的老师之一。

（3）表示在某个范围内处在第几位应用“the +序数词+最高级”结构

I think maths is the second most important subject of all.

我认为数学在所有学科中第二重要
