My Last Weekend

Wow, last weekend was the best! I had such an awesome

time. Let me tell you all about it!

On Friday after school, I was so excited because my parents

said we were going to go to an indoor water park called

Splashtastic! It's this huge place with gigantic water slides, a lazy

river, a wave pool, and more. We loaded up the car with our

swimsuits, towels, and snacks and hit the road. The drive took

like an hour but it went by pretty quickly because my little

brother and I played road trip games the whole time.

When we got to Splashtastic, my jaw dropped. The place was

enormous! The main building looked almost as big as a mall. We

paid to get in and then went to get changed into our swimsuits

in the locker rooms. I was ready to get my splash on!

My Last Weekend

Last weekend was the best! It was so fun and I did a bunch of

cool stuff. On Friday after school, my friend Tommy came over to

my house to play. First we had a snack. My mom made us peanut

butter and jelly sandwiches and we got to have chips too! Yum

yum.

After we ate, we went out to the backyard to play. We played

chase for a while and then decided to climb the big oak tree.

Tommy is a really good climber. He made it all the way up to the

highest branch! I only went halfway up because I'm not as brave.

Once we got tired of climbing, we made a fort out of sticks and

leaves on the ground. We pretended we were explorers looking

for treasure.

When it started getting dark, we went inside to ask my mom

if Tommy could spend the night. She said yes! We were so
