Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today my
teacher Mrs. Robinson asked us to write an essay about how to
apply for a job by sending an email. I thought it would be really
boring at first, but then I remembered my older brother Charlie
just got his first job last month by emailing a company. So I
decided to write all about it!
Sending Emails
First, you need to know how to send emails. Emails are like
sending letters over the internet instead of through the mail. You
type out your message on a computer, phone or tablet and it
gets delivered almost instantly to the person you send it to. My
mom showed me how to use email when I was 8 years old. She
has an email account and I have one too -
