一、教学目标

river, valley, beach, island等。 2.能够熟练运用目标语言进行口语表达。 3.能够听懂、阅读并理解有关地理特点和自然风貌的短文。 4.能够以自己的语言和表述方式,向他人介绍自己生活的城市或乡村。

1.能够理解听力和阅读材料,并用自己的语言进行表述。 2.能够以自己的语言和表述方式进行自我介绍。
三、教学难点
1.能够用英语口语对自己熟悉的城市或乡村进行介绍。
四、教学过程
1. Revision
1. T:Good morning, boys and girls. Let’s start our class with a
song. Please sing along with me. (老师引出歌曲《Country road》并带领学生唱起来。)
2. T:Do you like this song?Why do you like it?(学生回答问题。)
3. T:What do you know about the places in the song?(学生回答问题。)
2. Presentation
1. T:Right,today we will talk about an interesting country. Here
are ten words about the geography of the country.Of course, you must
know some of these words. Let’s have a look.(老师出示PPT)
2. T:What are they? Now turn to your partner and try to match the
words with the pictures. (让学生进行配对练习。)
3. T:OK. Let’s look at the answer. (老师出示答案并让学生合唱每个单词。)
4. T:Now that you know these words, I want you to write the words
under the correct pictures on your own worksheet. You have 5 minutes for
this task. (学生完成任务。) 3. Practice
1. T:Good job!Now let’s talk about our own cities or countries.
What places do you have in your city or country?What is special about
them?
2. T:I will start. I come from Beijing. Beijing is the capital city
of China. There are many places of interest in Beijing, such as the
Great Wall, the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. Beijing is famous
for its traditional culture and modern development.
3. T:Now, it’s your turn. Please talk to your partner about your
city or country. You have 5 minutes for preparation. After that, you
will present one of the places in your city or country to the whole
class. (学生自由组合,进行练习并向全班呈现。)
4. T:Excellent!Now let’s share some. Who would like to share what
you have talked about?(学生进行分享。)
4. Extension
1. T:OK, now let’s talk about something special of the interesting
country we talked about just now. (老师播放短片)
2. T:OK. Who can guess the name of the interesting country? And can
you tell us something special about it?(让学生猜测,然后进行解释。)
3. T:Well done! This country is very famous for its beautiful
beaches and islands. Would you like to visit it one day?(学生进行回答。)
4. T:OK, today we learned new words about geography and we learned
how to talk about our own cities or countries. Please remember these
words and use them in your daily life. That’s all for today. Goodbye!(老带领学生说再见。)
