教学设计

一、 教学内容分析:

本单元内容是PEP小学三年级上册Unit 4 We love

animals. 主要以animals为主题词展开话题讨论。本课时通过动物园的场景呈现了要学习的5个动物单词,教学目标是学生能在图片和一定的情景的帮助下听、辨、认读所学的动物单词及其书写形式,因为大部分学生都有邀请好朋友参加生日聚会的的经历,所以我紧扣住这一场景进行教学,使学生既能感受到有意义的词汇学习,又能跟他们的生活经历建立联系。

二、学情分析:

本课教材采用的是PEP1 Unit4 We love animals B Let’s learn & Let’s do的内容,重点是让学生掌握本节课6个关于动物的单词以及句型What’s that?It’s a/an...让学生能够在具体情境中运用单词和句型。在此之前,学生已经掌握了5个关于动物的单词,pig,cat,dog,bear,duck,以及句型What’s this?It’s a/an...在此基础上,学生学习新的关于动物的单词以及学会描述远距离的物品指认并回答,培养学生热爱动物的情感。

三、教学目标

1、能在图片的帮助下听、说、认读一些常见的动物单词panda,

bird, tiger, elephant, monkey。

2、能在具体情境中运用句型What’s that? It’s a ….询问远处不认识的动物并回答动物的名称。

3、能在游戏活动中熟悉运用所学动物单词,并能用英语介绍这些小动物。

4、能听懂指令“Act like a/an…..” 并能根据Let’s do部分的指令做出相应的动作。

5、通过让学生了解有关动物的习语,来提高他们的人文素养,并激发学生热爱动物和保护动物的情感意识。

四、教学重难点

1、教学重点

(1)能够听说,认读panda, bird, tiger, elephant,

monkey五个单词。(2)能够在语境中熟练运用句型:What’s that? It’s a/an……

2、教学难点

能熟练表达各种动作,并能把短语和动作对应起来。

五.教学过程

Step1 Warming up

1.Greetings

T:Hello,boys and girls.I am Miss Zhang.

T:The young boy, Hello

S: Hello

T:Nice to meet you.

S:Nice to meet you too.

2.Watch a video

3.Review “What’s this ? It’s a /an...

T:OK,boys and girl,close your eyes,please.Open your

eyes,please.Look.What’s this? (教师人靠近屏幕)

S:It’s a box.

T:What’s in the box?What’s this?

S:It’s a ruler /pencil/book/an eraser.

[设计意图]:老师通过简单的free talk和watch the video,复习了颜色和身体部位单词以及句型“What’s this? It’s a/an ...”,为接下来的新授做好铺垫。

Step 2 Presentation

1.Teach the sentence “What’s that? It’s a /an...”

and the word”elephant”

(利用望远镜,出现大象的局部)

T:What’s this? It’s a telescope.We can see far with

the telescope.Now let’s use the telescope to watch

something. Look,what’s that?(教师指远一些)

S:It’s an ear.

T:It’s an ear. Read after me.(board writing: It’s

S:It’s an eye.

(镜头推远,画面出现整只大象)

学生示范3组

[设计意图]:通过望远镜观察大象的局部逐渐观察到大象的整体,很自然地引出了本节课的重点句型 “What’s that? It’sa/an...”,和elephant这一单词。

2.Teach the word “monkey”

(镜头上移)

T:What’s on the elephant?It’s a monkey.Monkey

T:What’s that?

S:It’s a monkey.

[设计意图]:利用猴子天生活泼机灵这一天性,设计猴子坐在大象上的这一场景,学习了monkey这一单词。

3.Teach the word“bird”

(遮罩退出,出现整个画面)

T:Look.Who is coming? (配上小鸟的音乐)It’s a bird.

T:Bird Look,so many birds.(出现各种颜色的鸟)

What’s that?

S:It’s a /an______(yellow /green.blue/orange/...)bird.

T:Look, I can act like a bird.

T:Act like a monkey.

T:Act like an elephant.

[设计意图]:利用小鸟的叫声,引出小鸟,通过展示各种颜色的鸟操练bird,并通过动作表演复习了前面所学的monkey和elephant。

4.Teach the word“panda”and “tiger”.

T:What’s that? It’s an invitation card.Let’s open

it.

Dear Mr Elephant and Mr Monkey:

I’m Miss Bird.Today is my birthday.But I can’t find

another two friends.Please help me.

Clue 1:It’s black and white.It has two black eyes.It

likes bamboo.What’s that? A or B?

T:It’s a panda. Panda.

T:Act like a panda.

T:Pandas are our national treasure. In

Australia,kangaroos are the national treasure. In the

USA ,eagles are the national treasure.In Canada,

beavers are the national treasure.

T:Good,you have found one of the friends.

Clue2: Tiger’s sound.

T:Listen .What’s that? It’s a tiger.

T:Tiger. Act like a tiger. Tigers are animal. Tiger also

can be a person.Look.This is Tiger Woods.He is a famous

player Tiger is his family name.

T:Good ,You’ve found these two friends.

[设计意图]:创设了小鸟要举行生日会,但是找不到其他两个朋友,通过两条线索,让学生“猜一猜”“听一听”学习了panda 和tiger 。

Step3 Practice

1.幸运大转盘

T:Look,here are Miss Bird’s four good friends.

What’s that?

S:It’s an elephant/monkey/panda/tiger/bird.(Stop.停下后,操练:What’s that? It’s an/a...)

2.自编chant(动作加上)

T:They will go to Miss Bird’s birthday party .They take

some gifts.

Elephant: elephant elephant, I have a ruler.

Monkey: monkey monkey,I have a book.

Panda: panda panda, I have a pencil.

Tiger: tiger, tiger I have an eraser.

3.Teach “zoo”

T:Where will they have a birthday.Look.What’s that?It’s a zoo.

T:Zoo.

[设计意图]:利用一个转盘游戏操练巩固新授单词,随后动物们带着礼物唱着歌谣去动物园zoo参加生日会。孩子们在愉快的氛围当中巩固新知,乐于表现。

4.闯关游戏
