单元教学重点1．学习表示方向的词汇east，south，west，north；2．我国著名景点和事物的英文表达方式；3．能够用自己学过的语言，对祖国的一个著名地方进行简单描述。
教学难点1．表示方向词的音义。
可能出现的问题有：1）不能很好的辨别词义；2）不知道方向。

各省市在中国的位置，各省市的著名的景点和事物等。

Divorce in present-Day ChinaDivorce is a choice for couples to find their own happiness, for they have considered the marriage situation and result. Different with the former China, now the right to divorce is becoming more freely(free). First and foremost, there are lots of factors accounting for this phenomenon, but the most critical one is our social environment.（They used to be crammed with traditional concept not allowing to defy their parents’ command）Due to the progress in thought which assimilated the Western enlightenment, people have realized that marriage is no longer a so-called ”permanent” form, for they may be crammed with traditional idea (concept) not allowing to defy their parents’ command. Till now, the idea of free marriage has developed deeper and more various. Under this circumstance, people now in China consider divorce as a common thing that indicates to a pursuit for their future joy. Secondly, according to the chart of divorce rate in different provinces, big cities like Beijing and Shanghai are in the top ten. People living in big cities are usually confronted with many(countless) worries and troubles --High rent , compact work schedule, social interaction. Life with fast pace doesn’t give enough time for them to catch up with their couple(spouses). The faster their lives are, the bigger the gap between couples become. As a result, many of them might choose divorce as amean to escape.Nonetheless, without old restriction, young people tend to engage more easily and recklessly. They don’t spend enough time on understanding each other. Some irreconcilable contradictions bring constant quarrels in their life. It only leads to the same end -- Divorce. What’s more, people can divorce with no much effort. In China, people can divorce as quickly as they register to marriage. So they don’t need to take a great responsibility for divorce.Judging from these reasons, we can draw some conclusions and make few assumptions. We can see the recent divorce rate is getting higher --It was 43.83% in 2020, nearly half. Divorce can be easy, but most of time it will cause financial problems and ill social effects damaging the love atmosphere -- Many young people decide not to marriage. Even though divorce can be seen as a sign of advanced life, it also can be a sword towards us.Marriage means a love promise, a home of two and a huge responsibility. Higher divorce rate may be a progress in some ways. But when it lowers, better society development can be truly shown.。
