Lesson 5 Seasons and Time
教学内容:
第一课时：1）Work in pairs. 2)Listen and Practise：plant grow , flowers bloom
3) Look , listen and say .
第二课时：1）Fill in the blanks with ee and ea.
2) Listen and practice:wild blows , leaves fall , harvest , snow
3) Read and write .
4) Read and make up a similar rhyme .
第三课时：1）Let's talk : Picture 1 and 2
2) Listen and sing : Months of the Year
第四课时：1）Let's talk :Picture 3 and 4
2) Play a game .
教学目标:
1.通过本课的学习，能听懂，会说本课单词，做到发音准确，语调自然，理解词义。
2.掌握询问季节的句型“What season is it ?”及回答方式 “It′s ...”。
3.通过自然拼读法，帮助学生掌握韵脚发音相同的单词，并能举一反三。
4.通过介绍四季的不同特征，让学生养成善于观察事物的好习惯，培养学生的观察、表达能力。
教学重点:
1.能听懂、会说本课单词，做到发音准确，语调自然，理解词义。
2. 掌握询问季节的句型“What season is it ?”及回答方式 “It′s ...”。
教学过程：
The First Period
Step 1
1.师生常规问候。
2.复习以前所学内容。
1）引导学生介绍自己喜欢的季节和原因。
如：“I like spring because it’s warm .” 2）通过快速认读单词比赛，复习单词coat , skirt , T-shirt , blouse , rousers ,jeans ，blue，orange 等。
Step 2
Work in pairs
1.通过回答的方式，让学生感知新句型。
T: Boys and girls , how many seasons are there in a year ?
Ps: Four .
T：Good ! What are they ?
ps: Spring , summer ,autumn and winter .
T: What season is it ?
ps: It’s summer .
2.学生练习回答。
3.将Spring , autumn and winter 三个词套入句中练习 。
4.学生分组练习，然后教师检测。
Step 3
Listen and practice.
1.引人新单词。
T: Look at the picture . What season is it ?
PS: It’s spring .
T: Look. What are they ?
PS: They are …
T: They are plants . Do you know “plants”?(重复此单词)
Ps: plants 、plants 、plants .
T: How about the plants now ?
PS: They are …
T: They are growing .
2.用同样的方法教学flowers bloom 。
3.让学生听录音并跟读单词以纠正发音。
4.两人一组练习。
Step 4 Look , listen and say .
1. 学生听单词see , bee ,feet 的录音。
2. 将单词写在黑板上，让学生找出包含了哪两个相同的字母，将其画上横线。
3. 教师讲解，学生跟读。
Step 5
1.小结本课所学内容。
2.布置作业。
3.与学生道别。
The Second Period
Step 1
1.师生常规问候。
2.复习以前所学内容。
Step 2
Fill in the blanks with ee or ea .
1.学生看图大声读出单词。
2.小组内互相检查作业的完成情况。
3.教师检查并订正。
Step 3
Listen and practice：wind blows , leaves fall , harvest , snow
1.通过看图教学wind blows 和leaves fall。
T: Look at the picture . What season is it ?
PS: It’s autumn .
T: Look. What are they ?
PS: They are …
T: They are leaves. Do you know “plants”?(重复此单词)
Ps: plants 、plants 、plants .
T: This is a leaf . These are leaves .
PS: A leaf and leaves .
T: How about the leaves now ?
PS: They are 落下。 T: They are falling . Leaves fall . Fall .
PS: Fall , fall .
T: Look , leaves fall .
2.创设情境，引出对单词harvest 的教学 。
3.朗读单词harvest 并操练。
4.两人一组练习。
Step 4
Read and write .
1.让学生先读句子，理解大意。
2.选择正确的单词填在横线上。
3.教师订正答案。
Step 5
Read and make up a similar rhyme .
1.教师以“四季的色彩”为题，复习四季和颜色类单词。
2.以“春天”为主题，全班进行讨论。
3.学生读录音，练习读小诗。
Step 6
1.小结本课所学内容。
2.布置作业。
3.与学生道别。

Step 1
1.师生常规问候。
2.复习以前所学内容。

1. 引导学生看图说话。

2.学生听录音并做练习。

Listen and sing: Months of the Year
1.先让学生听音乐，熟悉歌曲旋律。
2.初步感知歌曲大意。 。
3.教师提问，学生回答。
4.分小组进行演唱比赛。
Step 4
1.小结本课所学内容。
2.布置作业。
3.与学生道别。
The Fourth Period
Step 1
1.师生常规问候。
2.复习所学内容。
1) 全班一起唱Months of the Year 。
Step 2
Listen and read : Picture 3 and 4 .
1.引导学生看图说话。
T: Look at the picture . What season is it ?
PS: It’s autumn .
T: Yes ! It’s autumn . It’s cool .
2.学生听录音并跟读。
3.教师检查并纠正发音。
Step 3
小组活动：以小组为单位谈论四季的特征，鼓励学生描述自己家乡的四季变化。
Step 4
Play a game . 1.与学生交流，帮组他们理解游戏规则。
2.分小组进行游戏。
Step 5
1.小结本课所学内容。
2.布置作业。
3.与学生道别。
