Objectives:

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

Handout with earthquake vocabulary.

Procedure:

Warm-up

Begin the class by showing students pictures and videos of recent earthquakes.

Ask them to describe what they see and what they know about earthquakes.

Write any interesting vocabulary on the board that they use.

Vocabulary

Distribute the handout with earthquake vocabulary.

Go through the vocabulary and make sure students understand the meanings.
