英语语音 元音辅音的学习 一、元音 熟悉元音舌位图对于准确掌握元音的发音非常重要。通过元音舌位图的指导，在元音学习时明白舌位的变化，在练习的过程中能有意识地感到发音的部位。舌头抬起的高度（high、mid、low）;舌头最高部分的位置（front、central、back）;元音的长度或强度（long or short; tense or lax）;唇的圆展（rounded or unrounded） 二、辅音 在辅音学习中，对发音常识的认知，比如发音与发音器官的关系，唇齿音的位置，肌肉的紧张与松弛程度，声带的振动与否，气流的通道是口腔还是鼻腔等，都将对音的准确与否产生影响。在学习过程中，发音常识能给与理性指导。辅音的分类非常细致，总共有6个爆破音；9个摩擦音；2个塞擦音；3个鼻音；3个近似音；1

条件所限，口语考察在中考、高考中没有体现，但却是中国人评价英文水平的最重要标准，各类英文竞赛、演讲辩论赛和求学求职面试中，口语测试大行其道，让很多考试成绩很好的同学也有“口语到用时方恨少”的感觉。虽然考试压力和锻炼语境的缺少造成口语学习的先天不足，但是亡羊补牢，为时不晚，只要做到语音和语调、词汇和句型、思维和文化三点突破，精说泛说并举，口语提高虽非朝夕之功，却也指日可待。 一、语音和语调： 语音重在三点：一是单音发音。除了听老师讲解舌位模仿练习之外，还可采用绕口令法专门练习难发的音，比如Lily ladle s little Letty’s lentil soup.和Nine nice night nurse s nursing nicely.两则绕口令可以精练[l]和[n]这两个某些地区同学容易混淆的辅音。二是英美通用。英音和美音中个别发音会有差别，比如字母“r”出现在元音字母组合中时，美音会出现独特的卷舌音，比如“bird”这个词，英音发成[bE:d]，而美音实际上发成[bE:rd]，但只要不造成沟通障碍，操英音或美音，甚至二者混合使用皆可，唯一需要注意的是不能发出“四不象”的音，比如famous中本没有字母“r”，发音只能是[5feimEs]，如果非要加入卷舌音，变成[5feimEr s]，则画虎不成反类犬，贻笑大方了。三是熟悉吞音、连读和失爆等语音现象。前面介绍听力学习法时已经指出，以上现象都是英语说快时的自然结果，可以通过由慢到快的变速朗读自然习得。 语调重在两点：一为单词重音，就好比汉字声调，读错的时候听者就很难理解。尤其是兼具多个词性的单词，各词性发音有明显差别，比如“记录”record这个词，当美音发音为[5rekErd]时，是名词，而发音为[rI5kC:d]时，则是动词。二是句子语调。口语学至高级阶段，在发音标准的基础上，更要重视语调变化，西方人说话通常高低起伏明显，如果用一马平川的语调和西方人交谈，无异于在不断提醒对方“我是外国人”。 模仿是改进语音语调最切实可行的办法，模仿的有声材料应符合以下两点：
