四年级开学第一课教案

一、教学目标:

1.能够听懂、会读、会说并正确书写以下单词:school, teacher,

student, classroom, book, desk, chair, pencil, bag, clock等。

2.理解并会运用以下句型:This is a/an. These are.

3.能够通过对话介绍自己所在的教室以及教室里的物品。

4.培养学生对教室及学校环境的观察力和表达能力。

二、教学重点:

1.教学并复习教室内基本设施物品的名称。

2.通过对话学习句型This is a/an. These are.

三、教学准备:

课件,教材《英语大手拉小手》第一册,书、铅笔、黑板、橡皮等。

四、教学过程:

Step 1: Leading-in

1. Greetings

Good morning, boys and girls.

2. Sing a song

Let’s sing the song “Hello, How Are You?” to greet each other.

Step 2: Presentation

1. Show some pictures of school, teacher and students.

T: Today, we will start a new school year. Who can tell me what is

the name of our school?

S1: Our school is called Sunshine Primary School.

T: Yes, our school is called Sunshine Primary School. Do you

know who the most important person in the school is?

S2: The teacher!

T: Yes, you are right. The teacher is the most important person in

the school. Teacher, you must remember to greet your teacher

nicely every day.

2. Learn and practice the words.

T: Now, let’s learn some words about the school. Look at the pictures on the screen.

Show the pictures of classroom, book, desk, chair, pencil, bag,

clock to the students. Teach the words one by one, ask the students

to repeat after the teacher.

3. Listen and point.

T: Let’s listen to the tape and point to the pictures.

Play the tape, the students listen and point to the pictures.

T: Good job, boys and girls!

Step3: Practice

1. Teacher-student interaction

T: Look around the classroom, what can you see?

S3: I can see the desk and chair.

T: Can you see the clock on the wall?

S4: Yes, I can see the clock.

T: Good. Who wants to be the teacher and introduce the classroom

to us?

S5: I want to.

T: Ok, come here, please.

S5: This is our classroom. These are the desks and chairs. That is

2. Group work

Divide the students into groups of four. Let them have a group

discussion and introduce their classroom.

T: Now let’s practice in groups. What can you say about your

classroom?

The students discuss in groups and make a presentation in front of

the class.

Step 4: Summary

T: Let’s summarize what we have learned today. Please raise your

hands and tell me what you have learned in this class.

S6: I have learned the names of some things in the classroom.

S7: I have learned how to introduce my classroom.

Step 5: Homework

1. Listen to the tape and read after it for three times.

2. Draw a picture of your classroom and label the things in it.
