英文作文（problem-solve）
Today a piece of fearful news happens in my community. A
young student jumps from the eighth floor in the morning and
dies immediately. The reason why he ends his life so early is he
can not fear the stress form study and his parents. This thing
reacts a universal phenomenon that nowadays most of Chinese
children not having an enough time to play. Fortunately this
problem still has ways to solve. It can be solved the problem by
There are three reasons cause this phenomenon. The first
cause is parents. Almost all parents have a high hope to their son
or their daughter, so they like to compare their children to others.
When they hear someone’s son can sing well, they may send
their children to a singing class. If they hear someone send his
daughter to a dancing class, they will send their daughter to
dancing class too. It is a very unhealthy mentality. The reason why
parents always hope their children become a great man is they
can not be famous. They want their children to make amends this
disappointment. Cra m class after school occupy all children’s
free time, so they do not have any time to play.
The second cause is student itself. Most students in china do
not have their own opinions. They always listen to others’
opinion. When they see some attend a cram class, they may
attend it too. For example, my cousin is a hardworking student.
He always thinks he is weak in math, so he attends a lot of
remedial math class. When I ask him why he chooses so many
classes, his answer is I do not I see a lot of students i n both
teacher’s class. This highlights the second cause well. How can
children play when they have so much study stress?
The third cause is our society. A lot of social viewpoints make people feel only study can help people win a high reputation.
Most people think good jobs equal high education background.
It makes parents always ask their children to study.
Although problem seems to be difficult, there are also some
solutions can be found to solve these problems. The first solution
is changing parents mind directly. The school and teachers in this
respect can play a key role. School should not distinguish good
students and bad students by some ways. They should drill in
some points to parents at parents’ meeting. For instance
parents should not always compare their children to others or
everyone is different, a good singer may not be a nice dancer at
the same time.
The third solution is changing the social common sense.
Government can make some brochure or make some
advertisements to propagandize studying is not everything.
Government can make people know traffic can be a champion.
Diploma is not the only golden key to open the door to success,
and not necessarily of the Cotai Strip is a gateway to paradise.
A lot of famous people do not graduate from university. The
most famous
example is Bill Gate. If government can do this well, parents
would not force their children studying. Children can have more
free time to play or do the things they like.
