Module 9 Cartoon Stories

各位老师,大家好! 今天我说课的内容是外研社新标准英语教材初中三年级上册第9模块。

(一)模块总析：

新标准英语教材是以模块为单位进行编排的，每模块包括三个单元，围绕同一个话题展开对同一个语法点的学习、练习和应用。本模块是以“Cartoon Stories ”为话题，通过介绍几个著名的卡通形象，包括尼莫，史瑞克，史努比，丁丁以及中国的孙悟空，开展听，说，读，写活动激发学生学习热情，并展开对 “定语从句” 的学习、练习和应用。本模块的第一单元，是一节听说课，着重培养学生听懂对话中人物的情感，提出建议的方式方法，学会询问，提供有关卡通的信息。所以第一单元通过对句型的操练，着重培养学生运用话题词汇和定语从句获取信息，表达思想的的听说能力。本模块的第二单元，是一节读写课，重在让学生读懂介绍卡通人物的文章，能够运用定语从句描写自己所喜爱的卡通作品或卡通人物。即运用话题词汇和定语从句理解和表达的能力。本模块的第三单元，是一节语言综合运用课，重在让学生在具体语境题目的操练中，从听说读写四个方面对本模块的词汇和定语从句进行综合练习，运用和巩固。所以第三单元着重培养学生对本单元语法的综合运用能力。

(二） 学情分析:

学生在7，8模块中，学习了that, which,who引导的定语从句。这就要求我们在这一模块学习定语从句时，必须涉及到that,which,who定语从句的各种形式以及区别。而学生通过7，8模块的学习对这几类定语从句已经有了掌握，这就为本模块定语从句的系统化学习作好了知识上的铺垫。对于本单元的话题Cartoon stories学生比较感兴趣，这就为本节课的开展做好了情感上的铺垫。

【教学思路】

本单元的教学内容是第二模块中的第一单元，通过提供必要的词汇、背景等为学生创造一个新的语言氛围。因此，教师并未让学生对书上的图片进行讨论，而是由“Labour Day”谈起，帮助学生为第一部分有关劳动节的听力材料作充分的准备，使得他们在听时快速地抓住细节信息成为可能。通过介绍节日背景，激发学生的兴趣，由此引入听力，顺利地完成了对特定的听力信息的捕捉。
