一、指导思想

以党的教育方针为指导，倡导社会主义核心价值观，遵循英语教学规律，寓思想教育于语言教学之中。精讲基础知识。加强基本训练，着重培养为交际运用英语的能力。听、说、读、写全面训练，针对每个学生的具体情况有所侧重。尽量使用英语，适当利用母语。发挥教师的指导作用，充分调动学生的主动性和积极性。提高课堂教学效率，积极开展课外活动。充分利用多媒体等直观教具手段，努力营造适合学生的英语环境，使英语学习转化为学生们的自身能力。

二、学情分析

七年级的学生，由于年龄小，又加上生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。在实际操作过程中，却有很多问题。有的学生已经说得很好，有的学生可能说的不好，有的还不敢说，对英语的重视程度不高且参差不齐，学生一开始对英语还有兴趣，但随着英语知识的深入，这种兴奋往往会很快地减退，还很容易产生厌学情绪。因此最后能有一定英语基础的学生并不多。老师针对学生现状，在课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主，注重培养学习英语的兴趣，营造学英语的氛围，鼓励学生开口说英语、特别是给差生创造机会，让他们尝试成功的喜悦。

三、教材分析

新目标人教版七年级下册英语课本共12个单元，涉及到日常生活当中各种各样的语言情境和语言环境，旨在引导学生，积累丰富的英语单词和英语句型，掌握基本的语言用法，在听说读写各方面，能够有进一步的提高，教材编写融入了生活当中真实的场景，活学活用，使得学生的学习兴趣得到更大的提高。

Unit 1 Can you play the guitar ?本单元的内容是围绕情态动词can的学习来展开的。通过本单元的学习，使我们能够运用情态动词can，表达自己在某一方面所具有的才能，谈论自己的喜好与意愿，认识常见的乐器，能够自荐或者参加各种课外俱乐部，并制作海报，而且学会写招聘广告，并让我们在实践中学会和使用目标语言，鼓励我们积极参加各种课外活动，培养我们的多方面才能及团队精神。
