剑11Test2口语Part2范文-a writer you would like to meetDescribe a writer you would like to meet. You should say:Who the writer isWhat you know about this writer alreadyWhat you would like to find out about him/ her and explain why you would like to meet this writer.剑桥雅思11Test2雅思口语Part2范文-a writer you would like to meet参考回答 1 I would like to meet Guo Jingming. He is a famous writer and film director in China and many young people admire him. He is only 1 m 55 and is therefore quite short, he’ s even shorter than me. From what I remember he was born at the beginning of June in 1983, which makes him 33 this year. I don’ t think he’ s married yet, but I’ m not sure. He has written many famous books including, what I think translates to Sadness like a river and Tiny time. Actually, he made Tiny Time into a movie that I went to see about 3 years ago with my friends. I prefer the book to film because I didn’ t really like the actors as they weren’ t very good. I think this is because they were very new actors and I felt that they were n’ t particularly professional or good at their job. The thing I would most like to find out about him is why he has such an extravagant lifestyle. He is always buying luxury brands such as Hermes, Chanel and Gucci and consistentlyflaunts them on his Weibo site. A lot of people find this mildly offensive and often scold him for being so lavish but he seems not to care in the slightest. He says that this is his lifestyle and he will live life the way he wants to and basically ignores anybody else. I would like to meet him so that I can find out how he became so successful.参考回答 2 The writer I would most like to meet is an American author by the name of Suzanne Collins. She is the woman that wrote The hunger games. It became a very popular film a few years ago and has now had at least 2 sequels. For me personally, I prefer the book to the film because I feel that I can connect more with the characters as I’ m using my own imagination rather than that of the film director. I can also spend more time understand ing the details that are conveyed. I don’ t know that much about her but I do know she was born in 1962 and previous to her writing The hunger games she wrote for a lot of TV series. Most of the stuff she wrote was for children. The things I would like to most find out about her, or more specifically from her, are twofold. One, is where she got the idea for the film.I think, from memory, her book was based on a mythological story, but I can’ t remember which one. Secondly what the ideaand story will be for her next book in the series and where she got it from. I’ d like to meet her also to find out why she wrote the characters the way she did. I am trying to write a book as well and I think her insight and ideas would be hugely beneficial to me. From my understanding, being a female writer is a lot more difficult than being a male one and I will also like to find out her opinions on this.雅思口语Part1答案:Writing书写1. Do you often write things?Yes, I write all the time. I write when I answer questions, when I send e-mails, when I write letters to relatives. Each thing that I write gives me the chance to improve my writing. I do not take spelling or grammatical shortcuts, because that obfuscates good writing.我经常写东西。
1. Do you like handwriting?I really like writing with a pen. Actually most of my friends just like textingor typing. But from myperspective, I think it’s very nice and fulfilling when I write with a pen andpaper. It’s more personal that way.2. Is your handwriting easy to read for other people?Yeah, I guess my handwriting is easy for other people to read. Actually that’s a skill that I’ve practiced for many years. I think it’s important to take your time and be careful when you write, or else noone will understand your writing.3. Do you like to receive a handwritten letter / card?I honestly love getting letters or cards with hand-written words. You know, it’s really sweet and it adds a personal touch. Since handwriting takes longer than textingor even emailing, it shows that the person really cares about you. It definitely makes me happy to get something like that.4. Can you tell someone’s personality from his or her handwriting?Yes, I think you can tell a little bit about someone’s personality from their handwriting. For instance, if someone has messy handwriting, they might be a careless person. But in contrast, people with neat handwriting are usually patient. Of course, this kind of judgement isn’t always accurate.5. Do you like writing by hand or typing?I prefer writing by hand over typing. Even though typing is fast and convenienton a computer or a cellphone, a pen and paper help me concentrate more on what I wantto write. I feel like I’m always being distracted when I write on a computer becauseI always spend hours browsing the internet.。
2019年5-8月雅思口语part1话题范文:HandwritingHandwriting1. What’s the differences of writing with a pen and typing on acomputer? There are so many distinct aspects between them. Thefirst came into mymind is that writing by hand is more time-consuming while typing can be moreefficient. Besides, handwriting varies from people to people, but when inputtingon a laptop, if we chose the same font, we can produce the exactly same thing.Another difference is that typing does not consume ink and paper but writing byhand does.2. Can we tell someone’s personality from his or her handwriting?Well, I can’t say for sure but I reckon that to some extent, a person’shandwriting can be a reflection of his or her personality. When seeing anillegible and messy handwriting, we often assume that thewriter is a bitimpatient and hot-tempered. But when a neat handwriting is presented, we maythink it comes from a careful and serious person’s hand.3. Do you often write with a pen? When I was younger, the pens were almost one of my necessities in dailylife. However, honestly, nowadays I rarely use a pen to write, because typing onmy laptop or my smart phone is much more convenient for me.But I have the habitof keeping a diary, which requires me to take up a pen so whenever I open mydiary, I write with a pen.4. Is your handwriting easy to read for other people?I believe so. Keeping a diary gives me a chance to practice my handwritingmore often than other busy modern young people. So relatively speaking, I thinkmy writing is quite recognizable.Although typing has gradually replaced writing by handin almost every areaof life, I still think it is necessary to have a clear handwriting.5. Do you like to receive cards with hand-written words?Actually, I would be extremely grateful if I get a hand-written card, because this kind of cardsmeans that the person really cares about you and he or she is willing tospend time on you. However, I suppose an electronic card might be moreenvironmentally-friendly and also more dynamic since you can add sounds andvideos in it.。
Some people say that in our modern age, it is unnecessary to teach children about the skills of handwriting. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words.Model Answer 1:DisagreementMany people believe that handwriting skill is no longer important in this era of technology, and children do not require investing time to hone their handwriting, especially when they will mostlikely type instead of writing for the rest of their life. Unfortunately, this opinion is misguided. I strongly believe that handwriting skill is important e ven in today’s digital world.Good handwriting is important because when children learn to write clearly and concisely, they also learn how to express themselves properly. This leads to better academic and professional performance. I reckon handwriting is much more than simply putting letters on a page; it is a key part of learning and expressing ideas. Scrawls that cannot be read may be compared to speaking that cannot be understood.Handwriting is also important because children are required to use it daily in school, and those who struggle with the mechanics of handwriting may have trouble taking notes or completing their schoolwork. This can affect both their self-esteem and their attitude toward school. Good penmanship means better grades as studies show that the same mediocre paper is graded much higher if the handwriting is neat.More importantly, handwriting proficiency inspires confidence despite some people's belief that handwriting is not related to better academic performance. The more children practise a skillsuch as handwriting, the stronger the motor pathways become until the skill becomes automatic.Furthermore, handwriting aids memory. For example, if a person writes a list or a note and then loses it, he is more likely to remember what he wrote than if he just tries to memorize it.In conclusion, computer and digital data have no way replaced the necessity of handwriting skills. They are even more prevalent in this era of technology where good handwriting is related to academic performance and success, on the onehand, and inspires confidence, on the other hand.Model Answer 2: AgreementHandwriting skills involve craftsmanship, artistic way of presenting letters and require a great deal of time and practice. Since students are more likely to type rather than write on paper for the rest of their life, I do not believe that this skill is prevalent in this modern era where computers are used both in the academic and professional arenas. To begin with, neat handwriting was a criterion for academic success in the past, but not anymore in this digital era. Assignments, classwork, tests and other school activities are mostly done on computers and this is why a student needs to grasp the skills of computing and typing more than presenting immaculate letter formations on paper. To illustrate an example, I submitted three assignments during my last term and all of them were submitted to my teachers' emails, and not a single one was handwritten.Besides, time invested in honing excellent handwriting can be better utilised in mastering more important subjects and skills. Moreover, the use of computers and the Internet in offices is a common trend. An employee is expected to be an expert computer user, and immaculate handwriting is not a requirement to be hired by a company.Ironically, better penmanship has little value in a world surrounded by technology. Considering the future, when computers would be more predominant, parents and teachers should focus more on teaching technology to students thaninstructing how much a letter should be stressed or curved! To conclude, academic activities and professional needs, in this era of technology, compel students to have skills in computers and this is why it would be more practical to enhance their technical skills rather than handwriting skills- which has already become less important.Sample Answer 3:DisagreementGood handwriting of pupils is one of the essential skills for their academic success. The dominance of technology has changed many people's views on teaching students the art of writing. But I personally disagree that modernisation and the use of technology have made handwriting skills obsolete. To begin with, good penmanship leads to better school performance in most cases. Also, it puts a solid impression on the readers or examiners. To exemplify this particular impression, 71 per cent of learners who have clear and nice handwriting, have good academic records and areputation among schoolmates and teachers. However, considering the contrary point of view that good handwriting by children is useless could be justified as the predominant use of technology where most of the writing is done on computers. Moreover, skills in technology should be one’s goal rather than only giving preferences to handwriting. Nevertheless, only reading and speaking skills are not enough for better academic performance. Practising the topics by writing them on paper could be a much efficient way to learn. For example, in mathematics, it ishelpful to practice the problems and learn the formulas by writing.Additionally, writing is also a pivotal part of communication and this skill is necessary because research shows that when children learn how to do it, they also learn how to express themselves. To conclude, it can be summarized that learning to write is indispensable which should be taught to children. Amid the sea of typed materials and digital data, handwritten materials have their own dominance, hence, handwriting skills should not be ignored.REASONS:1. When young children learn to write clearly and concisely, they also learn how to express themselves.2. Handwriting stimulates young students' brains more than typing on a keyboard because handwriting involves more complex motor and cognitive skills.3. Being able to write effortlessly enables youngsters to focus more fully on a topic rather than being distracted.4. Children who struggle with the mechanics of handwriting may have trouble taking notes, completing their schoolwork and taking tests.5. Good handwriting has a positive impact on grades.6. Illegible handwriting can cause poor self-esteem. Poor self-esteem can trigger a lack of confidence among students.7. Studies show that the same paper is graded much higher if the handwriting is neat and legible.8. Good handwriting skill is appreciated by classmates, parents and teachers alike.9. Students retain learning better when working with new ideas through handwriting instead of typing on a computer.10. Handwriting can help them slow down and fully engage with their thoughts while typing on a computer may not.。

给朋友的一封信介绍书法英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Dear Best Friend,Hey! How's it going? I have so much to tell you about the cool stuff I've been learning at school. You're going to love this!Let me start with calligraphy. Calligraphy is the art of beautiful handwriting. It's kind of like drawing letters and words, but fancier. In calligraphy class, we use special pens with nibs that make thick and thin lines. The nibs are so awesome - they're kind of like little fountains of ink!At first, writing with the calligraphy pens was really hard. My letters looked like crazy scribbles. But Ms. Jackson, our calligraphy teacher, showed us how to hold the pen and control the pressure. Now I can make these sweet swirly lines and decorative capitals. It's almost like magic! The best part is we get to make our own calligraphy pieces to take home. Last week, I did my name in gothic lettering with lots of flourishes. It looked like something from an ancientmedieval book! This week, we're learning a Chinese calligraphy style. I can't wait to show you my masterpieces.Okay, get ready for this - we're also learning English! Can you believe they make us study English in an English-speaking school? I thought it was going to be super boring, but it's actually pretty interesting. In English class, we're reading all these crazy stories and poems from long ago. Last month, we read "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe. It's about this creepy raven that flies into a guy's house and starts talking to him. The raven just keeps saying "Nevermore!" It gave me chills! This month, we're studying one of Shakespeare's plays - "A Midsummer Night's Dream." It has these hilarious characters like Bottom, who gets turned into a donkey at one point. We also learned about words Shakespeare invented that we still use today, like "bedroom" and "sul len." I had no idea he made up so many words! The best days are when we get to act out scenes from the plays. I was Puck last week, the mischievous fairy who runs around playing tricks on everybody. I got to run around the classroom shouting, "Lord, what fools these mortals be!" It was epic.Another thing we're doing a ton of is writing compositions篇2Dear Jackie,Hi! How are you doing? I'm great and having lots of fun with some new hobbies I picked up. I want to tell you all about them!First, I started learning calligraphy, which is the art of beautiful writing. It's so cool! My calligraphy teacher showed me how to use special pens and inks to make fancy letters. At first, it was really hard to control the pen and get the thick and thin lines just right. But I've been practicing a lot, and I'm getting better.Last week, I learned how to do "gothic" calligraphy with darker inks and pointed pen nibs that make the letters look bold and spiky. I love that medieval style! My favorite part is adding the swirly flourishes around the capital letters. It makes me feel like I'm addressing a royal decree to the king and queen. In our last lesson, we started working on cursive calligraphy. Instead of separating all the letters, you connect them together in flowing script. It's quite tricky because you have to pay close attention to the pen angle and apply just the right pressure to get the line widths consistent. When I mess up, my letters end uplooking blobby or scratchy. But I'm determined to keep at it until my writing looks smooth and elegant!Isn't calligraphy fascinating? I never realized how much art and skill goes into beautiful handwriting. My calligraphy teacher says I have a natural talent for it. Maybe I'll grow up to be a master calligrapher! Just imagine addressing your wedding invitations in my gorgeous calligraphy script. Wouldn't that be amazing? In addition to calligraphy, I've also been working hard on my English skills. I have a new English tutor who is helping me improve my reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. We read lots of fun storybooks together and discuss the plots and characters. Then I have to write short essays to practice putting my thoughts into words.Essay writing is hard! You have to organize all your ideas into a logical structure with clear topic sentences, supporting details, and transitions between paragraphs. Not to mention making sure you don't repeat yourself or go off on unrelated tangents. Whew! Who knew the humble essay could be such a brain twister?Just this week, my tutor assigned me an essay comparing and contrasting two characters from the book Charlotte's Web. Ihad to analyze their personalities, actions, relationships with other characters, and how they changed over the course of the story. It took me forever to plan my outlines and decide which similarities and differences to focus on. But I'm proud of how my final draft turned out.My tutor said I did a great job篇3Dear Best Friend,How are you? I'm doing great! School has been really fun lately because we're learning so many cool new things. I can't wait to tell you all about them!First, we started learning calligraphy in art class. That's the fancy word for decorative handwriting and lettering. At first, I thought it would be super hard and boring. But it's actually really neat! Our teacher showed us all these different calligraphy alphabet styles with loopy letters and flourishes. Some lookold-fashioned and medieval, while others are modern and funky. My favorite is the gothic blackletter style that looks like something out of Harry Potter. We started by practicing our calligraphy strokes on a dip pen and ink. It's tricky getting the ink to flow just right without making a mess. I may have gotten some on my hands...and face...and desk! But I'm getting better at it.Next, we moved on to using special calligraphy pens and markers. They have a flexible tip that lets you get really thick downstrokes and thin upstrokes. With a lot of practice, you can make your writing look so elegant and artistic. For our first real calligraphy project, we're making decorative handwritten quotes on parchment paper. I decided to do "Mischief Managed" from Harry Potter in that spooky blackletter font. I can't wait to see how it turns out!Calligraphy is definitely hard, but so satisfying when you get it right. I never thought I'd enjoy fancy handwriting this much. Maybe I'll be a calligrapher when I grow up!In English class, we've been working on writing essays. I used to hate essays because they felt so long and boring. But now that I'm getting the hang of it, I actually like essay writing! We just learned about the five-paragraph essay structure: introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Havingthat format makes it much easier to organize all my thoughts into something that flows nicely. For our latest essay assignment, we got to pick any topic we wanted. I decided to write about my favorite books - the Harry Potter series, of course! My introductory paragraph hooked the reader by describing the magical world of Hogwarts. Then in body paragraph 1, I summarized the main plot points of the books. Body paragraph 2 was all about my favorite characters like Harry, Ron, and Hermione. For body paragraph 3, I explained why I love the books so much - the imagination, the adventure, the valuable lessons, etc. Finally, my conclusion restated my main points and ended with a thought-provoking question for the reader. I tried to make my language descriptive and engaging throughout. Writing this essay was actually kind of fun!Our teacher says the more we practice essays, the better writers we'll become. That's good, because effective writing is such an important life skill. Who knows, maybe I'll write magical books of my own someday!We篇4Dear Bestie,How's it going? I'm so excited for the new school year! We're going to learn some really fun stuff. I can't wait to tell you all about the cool new classes.First up is calligraphy class. That's where we practice fancy handwriting and lettering. I didn't know much about it before, but now I'm totally obsessed! We use special pens and inks to make beautiful writing. It's kind of like an art class mixed with handwriting practice. The teacher shows us different calligraphy styles like cursive, gothic, and copperplate. They look so elegant and impressive.I've been practicing the basic strokes over and over. It's tricky at first to get the thickness and angle just right. But I'm getting better every day!We even learned about the history of calligraphy. Did you know it goes all the way back to ancient China, Greece and Rome? Monks and scribes used calligraphy to make illuminated manuscripts that were like hand-written books with beautiful decorations. In the Middle Ages, calligraphers had to be super precise since they were copying manuscripts before printing was invented. Their calligraphy was basically like the old-time version of a printing press!I brought home a calligraphy set so I can keep practicing at home. Maybe I'll address your birthday card in fancy calligraphy this year. It's relaxing but also takes a ton of concentration. I have to go slow and be really intentional with each stroke. No sloppy chicken scratch allowed in the calligraphy studio! I'm going to enter the school calligraphy contest for sure.Another awesome new class is English. We're learning all about grammar, writing stories, and reading comprehension. I used to think English was kind of boring, but it's way more interesting than I realized! The grammar lessons teach us about parts of speech, punctuation, sentence structure, and other cool language rules. It's like cracking a secret code. Once you know the elements that make up language, writing becomes easier. You can build powerful sentences and communicate clearly. The teacher said mastering grammar is the key to becoming an excellent writer. I'm working on identifying parts of speech and fixing fragments and run-ons.For writing stories, we get to unleash our creativity and imaginations. We've been coming up with fictional stories篇5Dear Bestie,What's up? I have so much to tell you about the fun stuff I've been learning lately! I just started taking calligraphy lessons and it's super cool. You know how I've always loved drawing and art class. Well, calligraphy is like the fancy handwriting version of that!In our first lesson, Ms. Lin showed us all these different calligraphy pens and inks. The pens have these thick, slanted tips made of bamboo or other natural materials. And the inks come in so many bright, beautiful colors - not just black like we use at school. My favorite is this shimmery teal blue color. It's gorgeous! We're starting by practicing strokes on this special paper that helps the ink glide smoothly. Ms. Lin says the key is going nice and slow, and using the right amount of pressure. If you press too hard the tip splatters, but if you go too light you can't see the lines. It's all about finding the perfect balance. The strokes start out pretty basic, like straight lines, curves, dots, etc. But as we progress, we'll learn to combine them into letters, words, phrases and even poetry or inspirational sayings. Ms. Lin has these amazing calligraphy samples hanging up thather students have made. I can't wait until my writing looks that elegant and flowy!I really like how calligraphy makes you slow down and focus. It's sort of meditative and relaxing篇6Dear Tommy,How are you? I'm writing to tell you about some cool things I've been learning at school lately. You're going to love this stuff!First up, calligraphy! That's the fancy word for beautiful handwriting. It's kind of like art, but instead of painting or drawing, you use a special pen with a flat tip to make these amazing curvy letters. The strokes can be thick or thin depending on how you hold the pen.In our calligraphy class, we started by learning how to hold the pen properly and make basic strokes. It was kind of tricky at first, but after practicing a bunch, I'm getting better. We use these really thick paper notebooks made especially for calligraphy. The paper soaks up the ink nicely without bleeding through.Last week, we learned a calligraphy alphabet style called "copperplate." All the letters have these cool swirls and points. It looks super elegant, like something you'd see on an old manuscript or fancy invitation. My letters are still a bit sloppy, but our teacher says it just takes time and patience. The best part is we get to keep our calligraphy notebooks as a record of our progress!Wouldn't it be awesome if I could write your name in beautiful copperplate calligraphy for you? You'd have to frame it or something!Okay, next up is English class. I know you already speak English at home, but did you know there are different kinds of English writing we have to learn? One type is essay writing. An essay is like a short paper or composition on a certain topic. The teacher gives us a prompt, which is kind of like a question or statement we have to respond to. Then we have to develop our main ideas, provide examples and evidence, and put it all together into paragraphs.Just this week, we had to write a persuasive essay arguing whether kids should have to wear school uniforms or not. I said they shouldn't, because kids express themselves through fashion and uniforms are boring. But Angela argued that uniforms cutdown on bullying over clothes. We had to give reasons to support our positions. The hardest part is organizing your thoughts logically and writing a strong conclusion that restates your main point. Oh, and we have to be careful about grammar, spelling, and using transition words to connect our ideas smoothly. Our teacher is really strict about following the proper essay structure with an intro, body paragraphs, and conclusion. But she says learning this stuff now will prepare us for writing term papers and essays in middle school, high school, and even college!Isn't that crazy to think about? We're practically college students already with all this essay writing practice. Just don't tell my older brother I said that - he'll never let me live it down!Anyway, those are the two coolest new things I'm learning right now. I really hope your school has a calligraphy club or at least makes you write essays, because this stuff is so fun and useful.Write back soon and let me know what you think! I can't wait to see you over summer break. We're going to have a blast!Your friend,[Your Name]。

Part 1: Being in a hurry1. Do you usually write by hand or using a computer? Most of the time I use a computer because it’s far more practical(实用). I mean, for starters(首先), it’s a lot faster typing on the computer, and also it’s much easy to correct (修正)what you write, because if you’re writing by hand, you’ve got to cross something out (抹掉、画掉) or use tipp-ex(修正液), which can look a bit messy(凌乱的;不整洁的), especially if you make a lot of changes!2. When do children begin to write in your country? It’s kind of hard to generalize (有点难概括), because different children start at different times. You know, even though they’ll be formally taught how to write when they start kindergarten, most will be taught before that at home by their parents. So I’d say it’s probably between the age of about 2 and 3.3. How did you learn to write?I honestly can’t remember how I learnt it, but my guess would be that I learnt it from my parents, because children are definitely old enough to write before they start school, so I’m sure that either my mum or my dad taught me the basics (基础知识).4. Do you think handwriting is very important nowadays? No, on the whole (总体来说)I’d say it’s not that important nowadays, because I mean, who actually writes things by hand anymore? You know, it’s probably only important at school and taking academic exams, when you have to write by hand, but in the real world, I think it’s entirely unnecessary (没必要的).5. What impression does a person’s handwriting have on other people?Well I think if you have nice and neat(整洁的) handwriting, it leaves a pretty positive impression on others, as it kind of gives the sense that you care about appearance and pay attention to detail (关注细节), whereas if you have messy handwriting, it can have the opposite effect (相反的效果).6. Did your handwriting look good when you were younger? If yes:Yeah, I think it looked all right. You know, it was pretty neat and tidy, and I seem to remember taking pride in(为……感到骄傲) my writing. I suppose one of the reasons for this is that our teacher drilled into (叮嘱)us the importance of having good handwriting, so I used to practice it a lot!If no:No, I can’t say it did actually! I mean, my handwriting’s never been great, but when I was younger, it was particularly bad, you know, it was all over the place (really messy很乱)! For some reason, I just had a lot of difficulty with my writing.Part 1: Being in a hurry1. When was the last time you did something in a hurry?Um… when was it?...Let me have a think…I guess it was probably um… a few weeks ago, when I was on holiday, and I had booked a taxi to arrive at the place where I was staying, at about noon-ish, and I still had some clearing up to do(我还有东西要收拾), you know, I didn’t want to leave the place in a mess(很乱,杂乱). So yeah, I was basically in a hurry tidying everything up and getting all my things packed (打包成行李) before the taxi arrived.2. Do you like to finish things quickly?Yeah I do, cos I really don’t like things to hang over me(我讨厌让未做完的工作使我牵肠挂肚), you know, it’s just not a nice feeling when you’ve got stuff to do hanging at the back of your mind(同上).So I like to get stuff done as quickly as I can, but saying that, I still want to do it well of course! I mean, I’m not gonna do something haphazardly (做事很随意) just to get it done quickly, I still wanna make sure I do it well!3. What kinds of things do you never do in a hurry? It’s an interesting question!... I’ve never really thought about that one! What kinds of things will I never do in a hurry?...um… I suppose things I would never do in a hurry would be important things, like coursework which counts towards my final grade, a nd what else?...I’m kind of hard pressed tothink! Um… oh yeah, getting to the airport to catch a flight! You know, I’ll always give myself lots of time to get there, even if it means I arrive at the airport several hours in advance, cos it just gives me peace of mind.(让我内心平静。

1. Do you like handwriting?
I really like writing with a pen. Actually most of my friends just like texting or typing. But from my
perspective, I think it’s very nice and fulfilling when I write with a pen and paper. It’s more personal that way.
2. Is your handwriting easy to read for other people?
Yeah, I guess my handwriting is easy for other people to read. Actually that’s a skill that I’ve practiced for many years. I think it’s important to take your time and be careful when you write, or else no
one will understand your writing.
3. Do you like to receive a handwritten letter / card?
I honestly love getting letters or cards with hand-written words. You know, it’s really sweet and it adds a personal touch. Since handwriting takes longer than texting or even emailing, it shows that the person really cares about you. It definitely makes me happy to get something like that.
4. Can you tell someone’s personality from his or her handwriting?
Yes, I think you can tell a little bit about someone’s personality from their handwriting. For instance, if someone has messy handwriting, they might be a careless person. But in contrast, people with neat handwriting are usually patient. Of course, this kind of judgement isn’t always accurate.
5. Do you like writing by hand or typing?
I prefer writing by hand over typing. Even though typing is fast and convenient on a computer or a cellphone, a pen and paper help me concentrate more on what I want to write. I feel like I’m always being distracted when I write on a computer because I always spend hours browsing the internet.。
