二、课前预习:I.【视野拓展】美国的电视文化美国电视剧,比较常见的有以下几种:soap opera(肥皂剧), sitcom(情景喜剧), drama(电视剧)。
其中soap opera 有点像是连续剧(serial), 通常各集之间的故事都有关联,而且很会拖戏,有时候几个星期不看,剧情居然还能接得上!有点居然可以演20年。
至于为何叫soap opera, 则是因为当初赞助此节目的是一家肥皂(soap)公司,故名称一直沿用至今。
sitcom则是所谓的情景喜剧(situation comedy),顾名思义,每一集的情景喜剧通常会有一个独立的情景(situation), 而喜剧(comedy)就是要搞笑。

本节课的教学内容与学生的日常生活紧密相连,有利于激发学生的学习兴趣。
二. 学情分析八年级的学生已经具备了一定的英语基础,能够听懂并运用基本的日常用语进行交流。
但部分学生在口语表达方面仍存在一定的困难,对本节课涉及的电视节目词汇和情态动词用法不够熟悉。
因此,在教学过程中,需要关注学生的个体差异,给予不同程度的学生适当的帮助和指导。

Section B的教学应侧重于引导学生拾记并运用一些描述性形容词,如wonderful,relaxing,meaningless,enjoyable,exciting,boring等,自由谈论电视节目并表达个人的喜好。
同时,Section B 也安排了一些读、写的任务活动,教师在教学过程中可以整合本单元教学内容,引导学生尝试着写简单的影评。
本单元是实用且学生感兴趣的话题,本单元的学习对于提升学生具体语境下的语言综合运用能力大有助益,同时也可以丰富学生生活,陶冶情操,对学生德育教育也是益处良多。
