- Printed copies of Christmas-themed coloring pages or worksheets
- Christmas songs with lyrics (e.g., "Jingle Bells," "We Wish You a
Merry Christmas," etc.)
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils for coloring activities
Procedure:
1. Warm-up (5 minutes) - Greet the students and create a joyful atmosphere by wearing a Santa
hat or Christmas-themed clothing.
- Start by asking students questions about Christmas (e.g., "Have you
heard of Christmas before? What do you know about it?").
- Encourage students to share their experiences or knowledge about
Christmas.
2. Vocabulary Introduction (10 minutes)
- Show pictures, flashcards, or props of Christmas-related items and
introduce the vocabulary to the students (e.g., Santa Claus, presents,
Christmas tree, reindeer, etc.).
- Pronounce each word clearly and invite students to repeat after you.
- Engage in a "What's this?" activity, holding up an item and asking
students to say its name.
- Repeat the activity with different items, ensuring students are familiar
with the vocabulary.
3. Christmas Songs (10 minutes)
- Introduce a popular Christmas song to the students, such as "Jingle
Bells."
- Play the song and encourage students to listen attentively.
- Provide the lyrics of the song on a poster or a whiteboard and sing
together as a class. - Repeat the song if necessary, allowing students to become familiar
with the melody and lyrics.
- (Optional) Teach additional Christmas songs if time permits.
4. Language Activity - Vocabulary Matching (10 minutes)
- Distribute printed copies of a vocabulary matching worksheet to each
student.
- Instruct the students to match the Christmas-related vocabulary words
to their corresponding pictures.
- Monitor their progress and provide assistance when needed.
- Once completed, review the answers together as a class, reinforcing
the vocabulary.
5. Language Activity - Coloring Pages (10 minutes)
- Hand out Christmas-themed coloring pages to the students.
- Explain the coloring task, encouraging them to use their imagination
and be creative.
- Allow the students to color their pages while playing soft Christmas
music in the background.
- Walk around the classroom, providing positive feedback and
assistance as required.

- Ask a few students to share what they've learned or their favorite part

- Recap the new vocabulary and ensure students are familiar with the
words.
