1 Unit 7 Where would you like to visit?

Reading

教学目标

1.培养和提高读、写能力。

2.学习一些生词及短语。

教学重点

1.重点训练读、写能力。

2.学习并能正确运用一些生词及短语。

3.掌握so...that...与so that的用法区别。

教学难点

提高读、写能力。

教学过程

Step 1 Lead­in

1.让学生用“—Where would you like to visit?—I'd like to visit the place

where...”练习本单元的重点句型。

2.(1)以问题的形式让学生回答他们的愿望和梦想。

What's your dream/hope?

然后让学生讨论a dream和a hope是否一样。

老师可给予总结:a hope是我们希望将来发生的事, 一般可以实现; 而a dream有时候不可实现。

3.让学生填写Section 1

中1a的表格。

Step 2 Before reading

让学生在阅读本短文前熟悉有关生词, 掌握它们的含义及词性等。

Step 3 While reading

1.让学生快速阅读短文, 掌握短文的主旨大意。

2.让学生再次阅读, 并完成下列表格。

Hopes of teenagers To start work as soon as possible.

3.让学生细读短文, 找出短文中的重难点句子,

老师进行讲解。如:...in which

seems that..., hold on to...

Step 4 After reading

1.Section 3­3a, 3b and 3c

让学生快速浏览短文, 完成3a, 3b和3c的要求。老师核对3b的答案:(1.To help

provide better lives for their families.2.They want to enjoy the work they do.3.To

be able to fly.)

2.Section 3­3d

让学生分组讨论所给的三个问题

说明:通过对本部分的三个问题的讨论, 让学生对生活充满信心, 对未来充满希望, 并树立远大的目标。

Step 5 Section 4 Go For It!

让学生分组进行Section 4的活动, 练习学生的口语表达。

Step 6 Homework

用英语表达自己的希望与梦想及实现的方法。
