知识的纵向整合：三册教材中主要涉及到的是：一般现在时态。这三本书的第五单元都是关于“食物”的话题；三年级上册第四单元和三年级下册第三单元都是关于 “动物”的话题。三年级上下两册书最后一个单元都年级上册第六单元都是关于“家人”话题。
利用图片、实物加强口语训练
创设真实的交际情境，在故事中教学；开展小组活动训练巩固句型。通过多样的教学活动、游戏进行会话教学
《课标》要求：小学英语教学评价的主要目的是激励学生的学习兴趣和积极性。评价应该以形成性评价为主，接近课堂教学活动，以学生平时参与各种教学活动的表现和合作能力为主要依据。
教材中知识与技能的立体式整合：
知识的纵向整合：语音--词汇--会话--活动--听
力练习--文化理解。在每个单元中都有A,B,C三部分，这三部分里
的会话，在A部分中呈现话题，在B部分中延伸话题，在C部分中应用话题。即：呈现--延伸-应用。这就形成了一个知识的纵向整合。随着对知识纵向整合的学习，学生对会话的学习也就形成了一个从感性认识到理性认识，从理性认识到能力的提升，学生的技能也形成了一个
不断更新知识结构，灵活运用多种教学方法，合理利用教学资源，借助实物、卡片
、简笔画、歌曲、歌谣、游戏等。
