Unit 11 Could You Tell Me the Way ?

第一课时

课型：新授课

一、教学内容：Unit11 Sing Along & Dialogue 的重点句型。

二、教学目标：

1、语言知识目标

A、掌握以下单词及词组：四会词 ：excuse、excuse me、way、right、left、

Miss、 straight、ahead、straight ahead、lose、hospital、bank、post office、train station、zoo、restaurant、police station、

B、掌握问路和指路用语：Could you tell me the way to…，please？

Of course. Go straight ahead then turn right at …crossing

2、语言技能目标：

培养学生综合语言使用水平，锻炼学生基本的听说水平及表达水平。

3、情感态度目标：

A、通过问路语的学习，学会礼貌待人，热情助人，

B、通过表演课文内容，情景对话，学会如何把学到的知识用于实际情景中，从而体会语言的实用性，激发学习兴趣。

4 、学习策略目标：

通过课文内容的学习，培养学生小组合作学习精神，同时使学生养成主动参与、大胆开口说英语的习惯。

三、教学重、难点

教学重点：词汇、问路用语及课文的学习。

教学难点：1、Could you tell me the way to …，please？的朗读及使用。

2、指路用语方向的辨异。

四、教学资源：

学校资源 （设备、设施、图片、多媒体课件和音像资料等）、 社会资源（一些学生熟悉的建筑）

五、教学过程：

（一）热身准备

1、Sing a song (P66< How do I get to the zoo> ) 多媒体播放歌曲全班跟唱学习zoo、 right、left

2、Listen and do：Touch your eye/ nose/ Raise your left hand/ right hand…复习left与right的方向。

3、Free talk ： T： Do you like animals?

P： Yes, I do.

T： What’s your favourite animal?

P： My favourite animal is …

T： Would you like to come to Xiangjiang Zoo/ Guangzgou Zoo with me?

P： Yes, Thanks. That would be Great.

3、宣讲教学目标和课题。

T： OK, Today，we’re going to learn： Unit11 Could you tell me the way ?

(带读课题并板书)

（二）表现与操练

表现一：

教师创设情景，背一个袋子：I like animals. Tomorrow is Saturday, I want to

go to the Guangzhou Zoo. but I don't know how to get to the zoo.I am lose.（走到一学生前）Excuse me, Could you tell me the way to the Guangzhou Zoo, please?

板书学习单词： lose、excuse、excuse me、way、zoo 句子：Could you tell me

the way to…,please?

师生问路引出：Of course, go straight ahead then turn right at the second

crossing. It’s on the right. You can see it.

板书教学：turn、 straight、ahead、straight ahead

句子： Of course, go straight ahead then turn right at the second crossing.

操练： 1、朗读板书的句子,(目的是通过机械朗读记住这些句子).

2、看书本63页实行替换性练习：Could you tell me the way to the .....

3、板书教学：hospital、bank、post office、train station、zoo、restaurant、police station、

表现二、

师生创设问路情景引出：(引出)You’ re welcome.

贴单词学习welcome、日常交际有语：You are welcome.

实行礼貌教育，当他人协助你，要礼貌地说声：Thank you very much。接受他人的道谢，要礼貌地回礼You are welcome.别客气。让我们都来做一个文明有礼的小公民。

操练：两人小组操练句子： Thank you very much. You are welcome.

表现三、

1、多媒体整体表现课文对话一遍，目的是通过多煤体的动感效果，让学生更好地理解课文内容。

2、跟教师朗读课文。

（三）巩固与拓展

1、Chant （边说边做动作）

Left、left ， Right、right，

Take left 、take right、

Go straight ahead

Go, go, go.

2、看图完成问路对话。

多媒体出示一幅街道图，四人小组完成问路对话。

（四）评价、小结。

（五）布置作业：

1、 Copy the new words。

2、听录音朗读单词及对话。

3、B本做：用英语写出以下词组。

能熟练地运用所学的问路用语进行模仿对话。

1、运用礼貌用语。

2、提高对英语的学习兴趣。

2、流利地用语所学句型。

五、教学过程：

（一） 热身准备

1、复习U11单词，全班齐读单词。

2、快速闪过图片，看图复习地名：train station , police station , miss, post

office , bank , hospital , restaurant

（二）呈现与操练

呈现一：课文对话

1、根据老师夸张的嘴型来大声说出句子和短语。（ go straight ahead , turn

right , turn left , Could you tell me the way to the Guangzhou zoo ? You’re

welcome. Is the zoo on the right or on the left? ）通过这个游戏来复习上一节课所学的重点句型和短语

2、看《金太阳》光碟，整体呈现课文。

3、朗读课文。(跟录音读——教师带读——全班读——、分角色朗读)

4、让学生回答问题，老师帮助学生理解课文的对话。

（1）How many people are there in the text?

（2）Where are Ben and Janet ?

（3）How to go to the hospital?

一、教材分析：

本课的教学内容选自辽师大出版社英语教材五年级下册第十一单元Listen and say版块。本版块是本单元的主要学习版块，这个版块呈现了本单元的核心词汇和核心语言。本单元的核心还是学习现在进行时。

二、学情分析：

本单元话题是谈论正在发生的事情，学习和运用询问某人正在做什么的语言表达形式，从语法上来说，现在进行时态第三人称单数特殊疑问句的句式及用法，对五年级学生有点难度。在教学中要运用多种策略来达到学习目标。

三、课前反思：

学生能够运用所学短语引入新的句型中，弱化难点，实现新旧知识的融汇贯通。

四、教学目标与策略分析：

1、能听、说、认读全部词汇，并会书写和运用核心短语：reading a

newspaper,answering the phone,watering the flowers,climbing the

hill,taking pictures.

2、能听懂、认读并能在日常交际中灵活运用核心语言What’s she

doing? She’s reading a newspaper.谈论正在发生的事情。

3、能听懂、会说Listen and say板块的对话，并能迁移到具体的语境中得体的运用。 4、能体会到学习英语的乐趣；在学习中积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务；在课堂交流中注意倾听，积极思考；积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。

I. 单元整体分析

单元概述 本单元的话题对五年级下学期的孩子来说并不陌生。有关于工作日，周末的一些情况在上学期学生就有过接触。频度副词usually和often 学生也有过接触。关于工作日和周末要做的事情学生也有过大量的接触，因此本单元的重点定在：

1、频度副词的正确使用

2、动词三单形式的巩固

3、新疆和内地时间的差异造成的作息时间的差异

4、让学生养成良好的作息习惯

单元教学目标 1． 单元知识目标: 能力目标

①能够使用频度副词usually, often, sometimes等回答作息时间以及周末活动When do you ….? I

usually/often/sometimes….What do you do on the weekend?

②能够听说读写与日常作息有关的短语eat breakfast, do

morning exercises, play sports, eat dinner, in the evening, at

noon

③能够用所学知识描述自己一天的生活起居以及周末的活动

①掌握A、B部分Let’s learn 和read and write 中的四会单词
