in size，是固定词组，译为：大小（面积）。

be+表示面积的数字+in size，表示多大的面积。

square (1) adj. “平方米”,用于数字后表面积。

(2) n. 正方形；广场。

如：an area of 95 square meters 95平方米的面积2.1, 025 meters deep. 1, 025米深。

表示物体的“长，宽，高，深”时，经常用：数词+单位名词+(long, wide, tall/high, deep)。

如果数词超过1，单位名词用复数。

如：The box is three meters long, three meters wide, three meters tall.这个箱子长三米，宽三米，高三米。

3.Qomolangma is higher than any other mountain in the world.珠穆朗玛峰比世界上的任何山都高。

比较级+ than + any +n单数（用于不同范围的比较），比较级＋than＋any other＋单数名词（同一范围的比较）。

同一范围相比时不能自己和自己比较，所以用any other +名词单数；不同范围相比时可以和任意一个进行比较，所以用any+名词单数。

珠穆朗玛峰比世界上的任何其他的山都高。

自己不能和本身比较，所以用any other mountain.经常用这种形式表示最高级的含义，如：He is the tallest student in his class= He is taller than any other student in his class=He is taller than the other students.他是班级里最高的学生。
